Chapter 99 - New Earth

Onslo lies lazily while leaning at the cave's entrance. All of them were so full that they don't even want to move. All their bodies were warmed up because of the warm broth of the stew. A kettle was left for water to boil for Asha's tea.

"Ahhhh I cannot move. I am soooo sleepy and sooo full. This is the life I want...."

THWACK!

Onslo was almost dozing off when Tarik threw a wooden spoon at him, hitting his forehead.

"Oiiiii you lazy brat! It is your turn to wash all the dishes! No sleeping until you are done."

Dumu just finished filling the stone tub that he placed at the deeper area of the cave with water. He even put the lemon peels on the tub so the citrusy scent will mix with the water in it when Tarik was able to warm the water up. Asha was looking at the silver fox and mountain goat beast pelts that Onslo left on the nest.

"These are good quality beast pelts. Would be nice to have a coat or boots made from these. Too bad it's not ours."

Dumu walked towards his wife and looked at the beast pelts as well. He nods.

"Do you like it wife? We can just take it now and exchange it with mmmm what about the savage giant's scales? It is not the same but with how rare the scales are, I think it would be a worthy trade. What do you think wife?"

Asha's eyes shines as she nods. Dumu got the beast pelts in her hands before kissing her cheek.

"I will make you some clothes out of these pelts."

"I will make you boots. Would you like to have boots similar to those boots me and the wolves made out of wolf fur."

Tarik was already warming up the water in the tub while he watch the two discussing about the beast pelts.

"That would be great Tarik. I can't wait to see what you two will make. Thank you!"

Asha tiptoed to kiss Dumu on his cheek. Then she ran to Tarik and leans close to kiss his cheek as well. The two husbands were smiling at her, both are happy to be appreciated by their wife. It's not that long ago when the two males were hostile with each other because of their different views and opinions. But what united them both is their love for their wife. Dumu never imagined getting along this well with another male who also loves his wife. Maybe it was how Asha is trying to balance and appreciate all their efforts for her. But deep inside, he knows that he still holds the first place in his wife's heart.

Asha got in the tub as soon as it was ready and soaked in. She already took medicine from her space. She heaves a sigh of relief as the warm water heats up her body. Dumu is washing her hair with the body wash Asha swiped out of her space. Tarik is playing with the suds that are floating on top of the water while leaning on the other end of the tub.

"What do you call these fragrant bubbles you use to wash your hair and your body master? It smells so wonderful."

"You can call it soap. Soap is used to clean and remove bad odor from the body when you bathe. These bubbles form when you rub the soap in your wet body... I think I have a book in the library on how to make some. There are actually a lot of things those books can all teach you. You can always go to the library and read. I put it out there for all of you to gain knowledge and learn. That's one reason why I taught you how to read and write. I do not know everything but with the help of those books, it can improve your reading ability and learn new stuff that would help you all improve your way of living.

You all already know that I'm not from this world. I'm not hiding it anymore for I trust all of you to keep my secret. My world and yours is different in a whole lot of level. Like the gap of your civilization from mine is huuuugggggeee.
