"Forty three. Now this is giving me a headache."

Asha massages her temples with her knuckles as she slumps down the ground. Shay was quick to sit first where Asha was about to sit that's why Asha was surprised when she felt herself land on his lap instead of the ground.

"Do not just sit anywhere. It is dirty and you might hurt yourself. Does your head still hurt? Let me...."

Shay removes Asha's hands and let it stay on her lap before he gently massages her scalp using his fingers. It was so good that Asha leans more on his chest and closes her eyes.

"Your good at this Shay."

Shay smirks as he continues, "this is like preening my feathers. So I am used to it. But what you say is true? All those stone pillars that we just saw are all in different languages? How intelligent is the beast man who did this? Or maybe it is not only one beast who wrote those?"

"I'm not sure if it's written by many. Even if it's written in different languages, the stroke and how it was written feels like only one did it. I'm not sure though, that's only my hypothesis.

From those forty three, only one is written in the language we speak. I think the pillars are all connected with each other. At the top of every pillar is a Roman numeral. I think it stands for how all of these pillars should be read in order. If we combine everything together, there's a high possibility that we will form a book, just like what we have in the library but it's written in stone pillars instead. It makes sense though for paper doesn't exist here yet."

"But who is intelligent enough to write all of these? I have not seen anything like this in my entire beast life. The first one is the book you let me see. The only one beast I can think of capable to do something like this is the most intelligent beast ever known in the beast world.

The Chelonian is believed to have travelled to different worlds to acquire knowledge. He is the first witch doctor in the beast world. He is also known as one of the Ancients. Mmm I think Kurma is his name. But still, I cannot prove it for it is just a guess."

Asha looks at Shay.

"I think I should swipe all of those pillars for safe keeping. It would be very difficult how to go here and just take a look to study. Mmmm, I have a plan where to put all of these and arrange them in order. Maybe, someone in the future would be able to decipher what these pillars are telling us, we'll never know. We need to preserve these. These might be very important to be hidden in a place like this."

"I agree my darling wife. Is your invisible bag enough to put all of those? I know you have your secrets and I do not want to pry any deeper if you do not want to tell. I love learning new and bizarre things. Maybe that is why I enjoy being a spy. But sometimes, the less I know the better. There are things that I would rather not know for I cannot help but do something about it if I find it repulsive or too disturbing."

"Knowledge is something that can be a gift or a curse. But would you rather not know and be ignorant if you can help twist fate and improve it for the better? D'you regret knowing the conspiracies and schemes the white tigers have been doing? Would you remain a fool and a puppet to those kind of greedy beast men?"

"I will not be used!" Shay sighs, "you are right Asha. It is just I feel burdened and have this huge responsibility to do something to change something wrong to be right. I am not that strong. How can I oppose a race who has been the strongest and has the most influence in the whole beast world? I feel like I am running towards a cliff with both my wings broken and cut. Am I running towards my own demise? It is hard to explain. I have not told this to anyone except you wife. It is hard to beat such Ahh!"
