Chapter 96 - Ebba, Merrik's elder sister *

"So sister, I can also do rune formations like you by using crystals with the same element as mine? Can you teach me?"

Asha's team is almost at the beach so she can place the second guard rune at the southern part of the island. It's been two days since they have placed the first guard rune at the western part.

"I will, if you stop hiding that you're only a four-starred owl beast man."

Dumu, Tarik and Theo looked at Asha and Onslo after hearing their conversation.

"That bird brat is not a four-starred beast?" Tarik is studying Onslo as he look at him while they walk towards the spot Asha has told them where she's going to put the next rune.

Dumu watches his wife and Onslo. He knows that Asha never lies. If she said that there's something wrong or there's something out of place, he'll believe it. Her instincts have always been on point. Since they have Onslo join their group, aside from his unique ability to see living energy, never did he felt that something's different with the young bird beast. But it seems that his wife has a separate opinion. She hasn't told him about it. She's probably not yet certain of her doubts about the young owl. But if she felt that Onslo is a threat from the beginning, she wouldn't risk having him around them all this time. She probably just wants the bird beast to come out clean and tell the truth whatever it is.

"Just be honest. My wife hates liars," Dumu said out of the blue. Theo is just observing.

"Who lives on this island?! I, Ebba, like this island! I hereby declare that from today, I own this island!"

There was a commotion at the beach. Asha can see that Zeev and the other wolves, along with Dylan, Zale and some crocodile and dolphin male beast men are blocking the way of some beast men with a female that are still half submerged in water.

"You old hag! Get out! This island is owned by our guild master! We dare you provoke the strongest of all beasts who lives on this island! I do not care if you are a female, I will kill you for we are given orders to kill anyone who dares seize what is ours. I dare you you old hag!" Zale can't even hide his hate towards the trespassers.

"You... you ugly crocodile!! How dare you call me an old hag!?!!" The pinkish purple haired woman madly points at Zale as she morphs her bluish purple tail to feet. Her naked body glitters from the sun's rays as she was followed by the male beast men, probably her mates, who transformed to their perfect form as well.

"This is not a nude beach. Who are these trespassers? Who the fuck shrills and sound like a dying squeaky toy? My ears are going to bleed if this continues...," Asha caught all of their attention as Dumu and the others walk towards them.

Ebba saw Dumu and a smile immediately appears on her face. But then she noticed that a beautiful alluring woman wearing furry white clothes and a furry white cape and boots is being carried by him protectively. Ebba raised an eyebrow as she struts her voluptuous naked body towards them like she's trying to seduce every male that is looking at her at the moment.

"Dumu! It has been a long time since I saw you. How have you been? I have been waiting for you to come back to Varuna for a long time."
