Chapter 74 - Lovers' quarrel *

Asha's group were all silent as they continued to gather and arrange their loots from the savage giants. It took them a lot of time to finish it all completely. Everybody can feel the tension between the couple. They all kept their mouths shut. It's better to just do what their alpha asked them to do. This silence might actually help the two mates clear their thoughts and calm down.

Theo kept his distance from Asha's group as she requested. He expected this to happen. But what he didn't expect is the snake beast who stealthily followed his group before is now her mate. He felt his breath following his group when they were out looking for the female. But he didn't mind for he thought he was just observing and would just leave on his own. He regrets now for not killing him at that time. Maybe, things would be different if the snake beast and the female didn't have a chance to meet. Maybe, if he just killed all those abandoned beasts with him and stayed with her, he wouldn't be ignored like this. Maybe things would be different. Just maybe....

The capybara beast men felt sorry for their hero. They didn't know that he and the group had history with each other, and it was a bad one. They just stayed and looked out for Theo from a short distance. Capybaras can't help it to just leave someone alone. These friendly beasts would help anyone, as long as they don't feel threatened and intimidated by it.

"I believe we are done, right?"

Asha broke the silence as she looked at the cleared space on the ground. Everything has been organized in groups. All that was left was how they will carry all these loots. Asha went in front of the loots and extended her hand.

"Everybody will get some meat to cook on their own. I will leave a lot for you to share. Sorry if dinner tonight is late. I'll keep the other loots for now."

With one wave of her hand, a sufficient amount of meat from the giants were left and everything else disappeared. All of them even Theo and the capybaras eyes went wide as she put their loots inside her secret space, making everything except for some meat to disappear in a blink of an eye. Dumu was the most shocked that he shouted at Asha.

"Asha!!! There are too many eyes! What were you thinking?!"

"You know what? I don't give a fuck anymore. Let them come and get me! I'm gonna kill every motherfucker who will try. The Bridges are not cowards. I'm sick and tired of hiding. Let them all know what a daughter of a Mafia Don can do."

Asha stomps her way irritated towards the mountain they were hiding before. Dumu follows her and tries to hold her hand but she avoids him. He just continues following her, with all the wolves and Onslo in tow after carrying all the meat Asha left for them to eat.

"Did you all see that? The female made everything just like that disappear. Where did it all go?"

"I do not know. All I know is that their whole group is dangerous. Most especially that female. It looks like she is the most powerful of them all."

"The wolf called her master earlier. And the snake said she is his female. The owl is also following everything she says. I think she is leading the whole group."

"What should we do now?"

They all looked at Theo who is still watching Asha's group as they leave.

Onslo walks beside Tarik who has his focus all on Asha. He needs to protect his master whatever happens. They all know she is special. They don't care what she is. She is his master and their alpha. Nothing will change.

"Annoying brother, do you all know that sister can do things like that?" Onslo softly spoke so Tarik can only hear him.

"We all know she is a special female. She can do whatever she wants and we will support her. If you are planning something that will hurt my master...."
