Chapter 59 - Tarik, The Wolf Warrior Leader *

Tarik heard the commotion at the entrance of Baylor. It means that Barda and all of the wolves that follows him blindly started to attack Baylor. Zeev tried to enlighten and persuade the other gray wolves that Barda will only use them as shields for them red wolves. Some joined them to rebel, but majority stayed for they have been promised that when Barda successfully claim Baylor, they will be given a chance for a better life.

The wolf village is composed of two kinds of wolves. The red wolves who always claims to rule the whole wolf tribe because of the rarity of their bloodline, and the gray wolves who belongs to the common breed, also the warriors of the tribe.

They have a harmonious relationship until Barda claimed to be chief of their tribe. Because of his greed, envy and jealousy of the gray wolves' brotherhood, he have done a lot of evil deeds to cause the tight bond to break little by little.

It became worse when Lupa became his female. That lustful female caused a lot of deaths within the gray wolves. Barda prevent Lupa to add more mates and everytime she'll form a pact with another, that male will soon be missing. It was rumored that Barda sent someone to kill those chosen mates of Lupa.

He even castrated almost all the gray wolves so they won't even have the chance to breed. But he can't do that to Tarik for he's the warrior leader. Many gray wolves will appeal if even their leader will be neutered like them.

Lupa has been seducing Tarik every chance she gets but he is never attracted to her so he always avoids her. That made Lupa infuriated and obsessed with him. Barda knows this, but because of his pride and ego, he doesn't blame his female, but have deep hatred against Tarik instead.

That's when the tragedy happened to Tarik. He never expected that he would be poisoned and raped by the female. Barda found out about it but instead of blaming Lupa, he abhors Tarik and punished him by having the other wolves beat him to death. Well, almost.

They thought that they already killed him as they just threw him in the middle of the forest to be eaten by wild beasts. It was pure luck that Asha found him, his saviour, his personal Luna. He vowed that day that his life is not his anymore but hers. He will swear his undying loyalty to her and if she commands him to die for her, he will do it with a smile and without hesitation.

But before he can do that, he need to find where Lupa is secretly hiding with the novice of Baylor's witch doctor. He already sent some of the gray wolves to meet the troop sent by the head guard to the wolf village. They will tell them that it was a trap made by Barda and they have to go back as soon as possible after rescuing their witch doctor.

"Tarik, we found a small cave that we think Lupa is hiding with the novice Chiron. There are only two red wolves guarding outside the cave," Zeev whispered.

"Time to rescue that novice and make that bitch pay for what she did."

They didn't waste time as they attacked and killed the two guards when they arrived at the cave. They were not even surprised at the scene that they arrived at when they went inside the cave.

"Aaahhh I knew horses would be this thick and big... mmmm feels so good...."

Lupa was riding the novice who is tied and gagged. Tarik is certain that whatever Lupa used to poison him was also used to the poor novice who looks like he was stunned immobile while his whole body is in heat.

"Once a bitch, always a bitch. You will never change...."

Lupa was startled and stopped her movements as she looked at Tarik and the other wolves that's staring at her with cold faces. But when she saw Tarik, she blushed and was delighted that she almost jumped towards him.
