The end of the night nears, but the sky has not yet brightened even as morning dew begins to form on the lush grasses of this new land. In the trees along the edges of the meadow, the glowing lights of an Omatikayan Na'vi glide from branch to branch.

The oldest Sully boy lands on one, momentarily catching his breath. He looks up into the sky, searching for the silver flier he was chasing after. Once it shows itself again, coming from behind a low riding cloud, it lets out a screech.

He takes off, running along more branches with determination. He knows he'll likely never be able to keep up with the creature without a ride of his own, but still finds it fun to try.

This day was promised to him and his siblings, for them to finally be able to explore after an entire week and a half of building their den as well as other things. So he's up before the crack of dawn, fully utilizing the entire day for his freedom. Plus, it gives him time to clear his head.

Not only have their surroundings changed, but so have the people around them. Specifically speaking, the royals they often spend their time with. Losing a home to pure destruction the way they did would have an effect on anyone's being, and he should know, because it had already happened to his family.

There hasn't been too much time to spend with their familiar marine friends, but in the time they have spent, Neteyam has already picked up on troubles stirring. This new secured safety gives way for more domestic problems that bring their own form of hurt. He isn't sure which battles he'd rather face; The battles of war, or the battles of his teenage life.

He assumes Aonung has been very busy, because he's barely been around at all. Busy mingling with the commoners, as his sister mentioned. Since deciding to break the barrier, he's gotten lots of attention. There are many Na'vi who would love to be the mate of the future Olo'eyktan, but little do they know, he isn't actually looking for one. He isn't really sure what he's doing, but he's doing it.

Neteyam shakes his head thinking of him, knowing his brother is half the reason Aonung is exploiting that side of himself, the inner turmoil that destruction brings probably aiding as well. He was perfectly fine with the innocently sweet boy that befriended him, and hopes this hasn't changed his character too much.

Rotxo, on the other hand, still comes around, but is a harder person for him to read. He can never really tell what's going on in the boy's head, and his assumptions only scrape the surface of his emotions that were apparently locked away for years. He seems mostly the same; Always what Neteyam describes as the "purest asshole", and no one could be more pure. Yet, very aware of many things, almost like himself.

He hisses at the thought of them being alike in any way.

Shifting his focus to what's in front of him, another screech is heard, but it isn't from the silver creature he's chasing. He stops on a branch, and as the call sounds again, his ears twitch and his tail turns to the side sharply. The call is familiar, making him smile as he begins to climb further up into the tree.

Once resting on a thin branch near the top, he lets out a long call to a creature flying towards him. It answers with a screech, and his smile widens. His Ikran has found him yet again.

With a few yips, he jumps off the tree, falling until the creature reaches him. It swoops under, catching him, and he connects their queues as they rise up further into the air. They glide straight up, spotting the Leonopteryx flying off in the distance to do its own thing. After turning upside down, the Ikran points downward and dives at full speed.

Neteyam hollers with adrenaline as they near the lake rapidly, pulling up just before splashing into it and riding back off into the air as eclipse begins to fade.

Back at his home, his family is just beginning to wake, and start their day. But he doesn't much care that he isn't there with them, he enjoys quality time riding his Ikran. Though, one thing he does think would be a bit nicer, is riding out with Aonung and exploring together as they once did.

He quickly shakes the thought away, not wanting to think of what Aonung has been doing with the new people he spends his time with. He isn't allowed to be jealous. Not when he's the one who encouraged the behavior, saying it was fine. Not when he's the one who could never offer such things to him in the first place. Not when he wasn't even an option, unlike his brother.

His Ikran lets out a low noise and shakes its head a bit, picking up on his rising anger. He caresses its neck gently, and takes a breath to try and calm himself, but it doesn't help.

He's angry.

Very angry.
