The air crackled with nervous anticipation and the joyous chaos of a bustling Indian wedding. Ahaan, impeccably dressed in a gold sherwani, sat rigidly by the mandap, a canopy of vibrant marigolds and jasmine casting a warm glow on his face. Today was his Wedding, the day that officially marked the beginning of his forever with Ahana.

Aryan, his younger brother, bounced around him like a hyperactive puppy. Clad in a sky-blue kurta, he mirrored Ahaan's nervous energy with a goofy grin plastered on his face. "Bhai, you look like a nervous peacock!" he teased, earning a playful swat on the arm.

A wry smile tugged at Ahaan's lips. Aryan, ever the comedian, knew exactly how to lighten the mood. But beneath the bravado, Ahaan's heart hammered a frantic rhythm against his ribs. He stole a glance towards the elaborately decorated entrance, waiting for his bride, Ahana, to appear.

Ahana, adorned in a crimson lehenga that shimmered like a thousand rubies, emerged, her face veiled but a radiant smile peeking through. Her best friend, Mira, giggled excitedly beside her, adjusting the veil with trembling hands. A hush fell over the gathering as Ahana, escorted by her friend Mira and Ahaan's Grandmother, walked towards Ahaan.

Through her veil Ahana tried to glance towards her groom, in these few months she got a family who loved her and cared for her. She will soon become someone's wife, A wife even the thought a jolt of excitement and nervousness surged through her... She never thought about getting married, and that to a gorgeous man who is not just beautiful in the face but in his heart as well.

The Moment Ahana came into the view of Ahaan, his eyes got stuck to her. He forgot how to breathe for a moment. His heart hammered inside his chest. A thought crossed his mind, "I can't wait to call her mine". He was shocked by the revelation. He never thought of getting married and now when he is, he couldn't feel more right.

Dadi's weathered face creased with a loving smile, She gave Ahana's hand in Ahaan "Always take care of each other and be happy" she whispered, her voice crackling with emotion. That broke Ahana's thoughts and she looked at her groom who was looking at her with so many emotions. Her eyes met Ahaan's, and for a moment, the world around them faded away. Time seemed to suspend itself as their gazes locked, a silent conversation passing between them that spoke volumes about their love which even they were not aware of.

Ahaan nodded, his throat suddenly dry. He held Ahana's Hand and promised "Always Dadi"

Ahana sat beside him and the ceremony began with the chanting of mantras by the priest. Ahaan stole glances at Ahana, mesmerized by her beauty. He saw a flicker of nervousness in her eyes too, a delightful echo of his own emotions.

Pandit ji started chanting the holy mantra and the ceremony began to tie these two beautiful souls as one forever.

They were listening to every Vow as they took pheras around the holy fire holding each other hands and promising to be there for each other till their last breath.

The pheras, the sacred vows exchanged by the couple, were a blur of whispered promises and shy smiles. When it was finally time to apply sindoor they sat down. Ahaan took a pinch of sindoor in his hand and Mira held Ahaana's veil over her head while Ahaan stared at her for a while.

Ahaana felt his stare and looked at him. A silent conversation passed between them.

"Are you guys just going to stare at each other" Mira's voice came over Ahaana's head.

"you will get your time to stare at each other on your wedding night" Rehaan spoke beside Mira.

His comment made Ahaana's cheek match with her crimson Lehnga.

Ahaan asked for Ahaana's permission staring right into her eyes which now has so many emotions swarming through it. Ahana nodded granting permission. Ahaan put the sindoor in Ahaana's middle partition. Ahana closed her eyes overwhelmed with the emotion that she was feeling. Her heart is full of emotion and something that she can't pinpoint now. A little bit of sindoor fell on her nose, Mira who was standing behind Ahana whispered in her ear, "Look like he loves you a lot." Ahana glared at her friend, but the blush creeping down her neck said otherwise about the emotion she was feeling.

Ahaan then took the Manglsutra. Leaning closer he tied the mangalsutra around her neck and whispered only for her to hear, "Now you are officially MY MRS. AHAANA MALHOTRA"

Ahaana can swear that she felt all his words in capital letters and her whole body shivered, she felt a damn break inside her and she is feeling all sorts of emotions that she never felt before. A tear escaped her eye, Ahaan wiped it, and caressed her cheek lovingly "No More tears Mrs. Ahaana Ahaan Malhotra"

Everybody clapped and cheered for them, and started showering flowers on the newly wedded couple as their blessing.

Aryan who was standing behind the Mandap came forward and teased Ahaan by pouring all the flowers on his head, "Now Bhai became all romantic, and will be busy for the next few days or probably months, who knows, Hain na Bhai?"

Ahaan glared at him, and everybody started laughing, which made The color rise to Ahaana's cheeks, mimicking the deep red of her indoor (Vermilllion).

Pandit ji announced, "Vivah Sammpan Hua, You can now take the blessing of your elders."

"The Marriage is solemnized"

Once Pandit Ji announced the completion of the marriage, Both Ahaan and Ahaana stood from their places and went towards Pandit Ji and took his blessing by touching his feet and then they moved forward toward the only elder in the family, their Dadi.

They touched Dadi's feet, Dadi put both her hand on each of their head and blessed them, "Hamesha saath raho, khush raho, Bhgwaan tumhe sari khusiyan de"

"Always stay together, stay happy, and may God give you all the happiness"
