The moment I landed I was thinking of going to the office directly but Aryan told me that Dadi wanted to talk about something important to me.

And all the way I was wondering what Dadi wanted to talk about is it about the news, but I already handled that, since I was jetlagged, I dozed off.

A tap on my shoulder woke me up "bhai we are here" Aryan's face came in front of my face as I was leaning on the window.

Yawning "Okay" he moved aside and I opened the gate and went inside the house. The fresh aroma of spices filled my nostrils, which means something special has been made.

"Dadi" Aryan almost shouted

"In the kitchen"

I touched her feet, and she blessed me with "Hamesha Khush raho"

"Why did you call me so urgently" I hugged her

"Phle Pet Puja Phir Kaam Duja" She dismissed me like I am not the one who dominates a whole company. I laughed internally.

'First food then work'

When I came downstairs after as ordered freshen up, I saw the besan ki sabji on the dining table and my mood lifted "You sure know Dadi how to get your work done no wonder Dada ji was so in love with you" I teased her and she blushed a little "shut up, and have lunch"

After lunch we were sitting in the shed of the garden, "Dadi why did you call me so urgently, is everything okay?"

"Everything is fine beta, I just wanted to talk to you about something" She kept touching the flower while talking

The way she is talking is making me worried "What is Dadi?"

"Do you trust me, Ahaan?" she looked dead in my eyes and asked

"Of course, Dadi, why are you asking this all of a sudden? I trust you with my life Dadi" Without breaking eye contact I replied, the way she is behaving is freaking the hell out of me.

"Ok then, since you trust me with your life, I have a demand," she said with a little smile

Confusedly I looked at Aryan who was trying not to smile, "Okay, what is going on" All of this weird now.

"Nothing is going on right now, but you have to do what I will tell you since you already said you trust me with your life" There is this weird smile on her face and that is making me crazy "I am already regretting saying that sentence"

"Par ab to teer Kaman se Nikal Gaya beta, so now you have to do what I say" She exchanged a look with Aryan

"Is there a way I don't do what you want me to do?" I flexed my shoulder a little to release the tension.

"Nope" she popped the 'p'

"Okay, spill it then" I folded my legs comfortably to listen to what they had to say.

"I want you to marry someone I chose" She dropped the bomb

The second words were out of her mouth. I was on my foot, "what?" I was shocked it would be the understatement of the century, I was flabbergasted. "What are you saying Dadi, is it because of the news"

"Baith Jao beta" she tapped the seat where I was seating

"Sit down beta"

"Yes, it's partially because of the news but partially because of something else"

"What is it Dadi, and also I have handled the news, so why then? " I can feel there is more to it than she is saying.

"News was the medium which made me realize something, I don't listen to anything else, you are getting married that's it" She stood up and started going back to the house.

"Dadi..."

"Yes..."

"Who is the girl?"

"You will get to know at the dinner, take some rest" and she just left like she had just not decided the very important thing in my life without considering my input in it.

I looked at another culprit of this who was also sneaking after Dadi "Who is the girl? I know you know, so just tell me who she is" giving him the look which I give in meetings when I am not happy and which makes them shiver to their bones, but of course he is my brother so it did nothing to him.

"Patience bhai... patience.... You will get to meet my beautiful Bhabhi soon" he almost whispered the last and laughing like a maniac he left me standing there furious. If this had been a cartoon film, fire or smoke would have been coming out of my ear.

After calming myself down I thought about this girl whom Dadi decided as my better half, I closed my eyes and There was this twist in my heart thinking about getting married to the unknown face, and then I remembered the memory of last night's dream which was weird, initially, the face was not clear, A guy was just holding someone hand, touching her face I guess lovingly since the face was not clear, walking on the side of the beach, picking her up twirling her around, and I heard the laugh of the girl it was beautiful and intoxicating, how can someone's laugh can be that intoxicating. I was about to get close to them to see their faces when the alarm went off, and I woke up agitated.

All of this is making me confused about what is happening, I feel like my grip on things is loosening.

And then I heard Mumma saying "Sometimes it's okay to loosen the grip, to open the gate so that someone can enter and make it better, have faith in your instincts and heart beta, everything will fall into place"
