LV 5 (scene 15) - Under Gift Wraps

The scene opens to show Logan sitting on the couch. As he scrolls on Instagram, the date, January 10th, is circled, indicating that it's his birthday. And he is NOT in a good mood. Just then, Tracy walks in dressed in a pale yellow hoodie and grey sweatpants.
Tracy: (smiling lightly) Good morning, birthday boy. How's 30 treating you? [laugh track]
Logan: I just turned 30. And for someone turning 30, I do not feel great.
Tracy: Awww, someone's feeling a little blue. I told you your emotions will keep your clothes in check. Welcome to the club, (slowly) Mr Liam [laugh track]
Logan: (feeling weird) Can you not call me that? You're making me feel old. (He stands up and stretches) And so is my back [laugh track]
Tracy: Welcome to my world. But don't worry, you're still the baby in our friend group [laugh track]. (Logan groans and just returns to his room. Meanwhile, the doorbell rings, and Tracy goes to open the door. There at the door is Danny dressed in his usual signature jersey outfit, blue in colour, backwards face cap worn to show a bit of his curly, yet messy brown bangs, and black sweatpants)
Danny: (with a raspy jock "accent") Morning, Miss T. Where's the birthday boy? I got a gift for him.
Tracy: (yells to Logan) I told you you're still the baby.
Logan: (offscreen) A baby said it! It doesn't f*ck*n count! [laugh track]
Tracy: (yells back) Liam, mind your language! There are children here! (smirks at Danny) It never gets old [brief laugh track]. So, where's the gift you got for Logan? (Just then, Zoey shows up behind Danny with her little brown-haired daughter, Audrey, who's about 5 years old. Zoey herself is dressed in a red hooded cardigan and black comfy jeans, mostly because of the cold weather, so is Audrey, but she's wearing a green sweater instead)
Zoey: Danny, for the last time, you can't re-gift a family member as a birthday present [applause track]. Danny's crazy gift choices. It never gets old, does it?
Tracy: A lot of things haven't gotten old. Well, except your brother [laugh track]. (Zoey, Danny, and Audrey walk in, and Tracy closes the door) So, what brings you back to Denver after 5 years? (Danny takes Audrey to the kitchen to give her some snacks)
Zoey: I decided to surprise my little brother on his special day.
Danny: That's very nice.
Zoey: Sweetie, that's the second reason [laugh track]. I've an important Red Carpet event happening in LA soon, meant for A-listers like myself and my husband. (She flips her long braids behind her) And we all know the fanciest of stars are gonna be there. Live and direct! Jason Momoa, Eva Longoria, Scarlett, and even Chris Pratt.
Tracy: You're using those big famous slangs that everyone hates. I love it. And speaking of words and slang, see this. (She yells) Logan, Danny's in the kitchen again!!
Logan: (offscreen) DANNY, DON'T EVEN F*CK*N THINK OF TAKING THAT CHOCOLATE!!!
Tracy: LOGAN, FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME, THERE'S A CHILD HERE!! (Logan comes out of his room and rushes towards Tracy)
Logan: Young woman, there are no children in this house. So I can say whatever I [censored] want. [censored] [censored] [censored]
Audrey: (enters the living room and greets) Good morning, Uncle Logan. Looking great today.
Logan: (surprised) Hold on, I recognise that sarcasm anywhere. (His eyes follow Audrey as she goes to stand close to her mom - and his sister, Zoey, who's not impressed with the consistent cussing [laugh track]. Logan smiles nervously) Zoey, I can explain.
Zoey: Let's see. Danny's street cred is rubbing off on you?
Logan: (calls out) Danny?! DANIEL POTTER!!
Danny: (walks out of the kitchen with a bag of chocolate. He looks disappointed at Logan) Yes? You rudely called me [laugh track]. (Logan and Danny make brief eye contact, and he heaves a sigh before turning to Zoey). Miss Zoey, lying about me, is so 20s. But let him have this one [laugh track]. (He returns back to the kitchen, and Tracy giggles)
Tracy: Next time, listen to me [another laugh track].
Logan: (hugs Zoey) I'm so happy you're back in town to not really see me on my birthday. I missed you a lot.
Zoey: So did I.
Tracy: Hey, where's Trevor?
Zoey: He's way too busy in Las Vegas to have anything to do with Denver. But he'll show up in a few days just in time for the award show.
Logan: That's great. I don't need anyone trying to drive me crazy today.
Audrey: Mr Logan, is Uncle Nigel coming to visit?
Logan: Sweetheart, Nigel isn't related to your dad.
Audrey: (She heaves a sigh of dismay and turns to Tracy and Zoey) It was worth the shot [laugh track].
Logan: (facing Zoey) What did you tell her? I need to know about it right now!
Zoey: (staring nervously at Logan before smiling sheepishly and replying in an evasive tone) Look at the time. We need to prepare for the party soon. Tracy? Audrey? We've got a party to plan! (The three ladies leave an unimpressed Logan in the living room)
Logan: No one laughed [brief laugh track]...
