Jesse is on a movie set filming with Hudson and a couple of other adult co-stars, including Tracy, on a suspense TV series titled "Hall of Fame." Tracy is standing beside the middle-aged director. who's well into his mid-fifties. Although lthough everything seems to be going well, Jesse is a bit too...
Director: (yells at a distracted Jesse) CARMICHAEL!! (Jesse is just staring at his brunette female co-star, Sigourney, apparently distracted by her beauty. She's a bit taller than him, by an inch, her long, wavy hair complimenting her green eyes and a dimple on her right cheek). JESSE?!! (Turns to Tracy) What's up with your friend?
Tracy: Mr. Kevin, don't be upset. He gets distractions from his dad.
Kevin: Which dad? Logan or Gerald?
Tracy: We both don't want to know who [brief laugh track].
Kevin: CUT! Everyone, take five! (She walks to Hudson in the background as everyone disperses to rehearse their lines more) Hudson, tell Jesse to stop staring at Sigourney like that. It's creepy.
Hudson: (smirks) Seems like Logan Jr. has a crush. Little dude's all grown up!
Tracy: Hudson, this isn't the time to be cute. (exhales) Now, get cute and take Jesse away from Sigourney.
Hudson: (rolls his eyes as he approaches Sigourney) Hey, Sigourney?
Sigourney: Hudson, is something wrong with Jesse? He's kinda weird, I don't like weird.
Hudson: Look, I'll talk to him in just a bit. Who knows? You might like his weird weirdness.
Sigourney: No, I won't [laugh track]. (He leaves her and walks towards Jesse, who's going through his scripts again)
Jesse: Hudson? Good thing you're here!
Hudson: So am I. What the heck was that with Sigourney?
Jesse: I think she's pretty. I'm supposed to admire God's creation.
Hudson: Yeah, exactly, you admire too much [laugh track]. You freeze every time you look at her, and here's advice from the typical jock you see in every TV show, no girl likes the creepy stare.
Jesse: Which is where you come in. Dude, I need you to help me out with Sigourney during our lunch time tomorrow. You and Miss Tracy.
Tracy: (behind them) That's not going to happen, sweetie. I've got a career to build, so Hudson's your manager for the rest of tomorrow.
Hudson: Miss, I'm just 16.
Tracy: And 16 is a responsible age in the general teenage constitution. Good luck! [brief laugh track]
Hudson: (turns to Jesse again) Dude, I'll help you as long as you don't make that face ever again. Sigourney is an A-list teen star like Kelsea. You don't want to mess with them.
Jesse: Kelsea's friends with Sigourney?
Hudson: Yeah. Those two jointly ended the career of Ursula Harris, just cause she harassed Nigel on set. Everyone has practically forgotten her.
Jesse: Who's Ursula?
Hudson: Exactly [laugh track]
Jesse: Hudson, I won't - (Jesse freezes in a trance, the camera zooms in on his glowing right iris, then showing the speeding wave of light and Sigourney is seen grinning. She's dressed in a blue evening gown, unlike the striped blue and white T shirt and black jeans she has on currently)
[Sigourney: Of course, Jesse, I'm ready to go on a date with you]
(The vision quickly closes, and the scene returns right back to Jesse's stunned face. He regains consciousness and quickly looks up and locks eyes with Hudson - a clearly annoyed Hudson) Oh, snap [brief laugh track]
Hudson: Dude?
Jesse: (quickly realises) That is the last time you'll see that stare directed at her. I promise.
Hudson: Don't even bother making that face at all.
Jesse: Baby steps, Hudson. (cheekily) And this baby thinks that we should make the right steps to avoid falling. (He chuckles at the awful word play he just made, while Hudson remains expressionless) Get it? Baby steps? Falling? Cause babies fall when they can't make steady steps?
Hudson: Jesse, at this point, just forget about Sigourney. It's a journey you'll regret stepping on [heavy laugh track]...
Later that evening, Hudson approaches Sigourney, who's scrolling on her phone without a care in the world.
Hudson: Sigourney? How u doing? I need to talk to you about something.
Sigourney: So do I. (She keeps her phone back in her pants and exhales) Hudson, I've been thinking about someone.
Hudson: Oh, wait, we're doing this [brief laugh track]
Sigourney: I think I might like someone among the cast of this show. And yet, it's so obvious he likes me back cause (flips hair). I'm famous and everyone loves me.
Hudson: (mocks) You don't say [another laugh track]. Well, Jesse is a great guy, and you should try to talk to him about your feelings sometime.
Sigourney: (scoffs) It's not Jesse. He's OK, but he's clearly weird. (grins) The person I like is (pokes at Hudson on his chest and smirks. Hudson tries to hide his surprised expression)
Hudson: Yariel?
Sigourney: No. You.
Hudson: Danny Porter?
Sigourney: You.
Hudson: The Kid LAROI?
Sigourney: (annoyed) Dude, you. Stop asking so many questions.
Hudson: But I'm taken.
Sigourney: Kelsea doesn't need to know. And don't tell Jesse either. His heart will break. (Hudson opens his mouth to talk, but Sigourney cuts in) Dude, think about it. And get back to me with a yes.
Hudson: Is NO an option?
Sigourney: NO [laugh track]. I'll go with Jesse, but you'll have to go with me, and that's why I said NO. (She sashays away. Hudson thinks of going to Tracy, but he has a better idea)
Hudson: I think I know who can stop this madness.
