I heard my alarm going off and knocking on my door. "D you woke?" Dream asked knocking. "Davion?"

I'm up! I yelled back getting up. I hit the button to stop on my phone and got up. I went into my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth before getting in the shower. All I could think about was this school. I was going into my first day of high school today and honestly I was nervous. What if I'm not smart enough to keep up or some shit. I stopped going to school in 7th grade when I got kicked out. Only reason I passed my 8th grade exam cause all the studying and shit Dream did to help me. If it wasn't for her I'd be 14 in 7th grade and that'll never happen. I'd never go back to school then.

I got out the shower dried off I lotioned down and put oil all over my body. I began to get dress. I know I was gone look fly as hell today well everyday. I wasn't tryna be popular or anything but I liked to pop my shit.

Some of the boys I ran with in the hood go to the same school so I was gone be lucky to know a few heads.

I put on a pair of tan/nude color distressed stacked jeans, a black rock star shirt and my black and white Amiri shoes on. I put on three gold chains, my grills in my mouth, my Cuban bracelet, and my diamond earrings. I was looking good. I sprayed myself in Dior cologne and grabbed my book bag and phone.

You ready? Demon asked coming into the house.

Yeah, I grabbed an apple off the table and some toast out the toaster.

Hey baby! Demon kissed Dream as she came up from the basement. She was doing laundry. She was nesting so hard.

Hey honey, D you got your lunch money.? She asked sitting the basket on the table.

Yeah.... I squinted touching my pockets.

Lie again! She slapped me on my head. "Here!" She handed me the $20 bill off the counter. "Boy I swear you'd lose your head if it wasn't attached to your head. Have a great day, make good choices!" She smiled opening the front door for us. I hugged her bye and walked out. "Come on BrotherDad before I'm late!" I said laughed interrupting their kiss.

I walked over to the car and looked up to see Nova coming out her house. She looked so pretty. Her chocolate skin was glowing in the morning sun. She had on a tan skirt, a black and orange graphic tee, with a white title neck under it. A orange purse and some orange Rick Owen's. She worse her hair in two ponytails with braids and bows with the back wet and curly and some glasses. She looked so pretty.

Boy get in the damn car! Demon laughed. She waved at me and I smiled waving back before getting in. "You really like her don't you?!"

No, I mean yeah....she just...I don't know...

I know that feeling all too well. He laughed. "Just be yaself, but uhhh we do need to have the talk. I know you getting up there in age and you gonna wanna start you know experimenting and shit. You already smoke wee and drink."

Demon are you tryna give me the birds and the bee's talk?! I asked laughing.

I guess I am....

WHAT?! He yelled and his eyes damn near popped out his head. He was such a dad.

I lost it when I was 12, shorty name Kim lived on my old street. I was fuckin her.

How old was she?

She was like 15, said she wanted to help me become a man!

Oh lord! He started to rub his head in frustration. "Well now I know you experienced, just be safe kid! Look in the glove compartment and get that box of condoms."

Why you got these? You and Dream clearly don't use these! I joked.

They ain't mine fool! He slapped me in the back of my head. "I bought them for you, because I know how high school can be. Just make sure you focus on them grades instead of them girls but if you do decide to you know take it there with one them fast as girls. You wrap it up!

I'm serious Davion, I don't wanna hear how one these lil fast ass girls burnt ya wewe off!

I ain't gone tell you that anyways! I laughed opening the car door. "You damn near dieing is making you soft!"

I call you son cause you shine like one! He laughed. I honestly ain't even have a come back for that one. I just nodded my head cause he got it! I closed the door and he laughed. I headed towards the school and he pulled off. I looked up at the huge school in front of me and I got nervous. I don't know if I could do this....

Yoooo D! Brent and Jace smiled coming over to me.

I slapped them both up. "Sup niggas!"

Shit you got yo schedule? Brent asked taking his out.

Oh yeah my shit right here. I pulled it out my pocket and we all compared them to one another. We all mostly had the same schedule as each other. They showed me where my locker was and then we made it to class. I smiled hard when I seen Nova in my class. This was gonna be a great year!
