I've always believed in soulmates,
In the idea that somewhere, out there,
There's a person I'm destined to meet—
The one who feels like coming home.
We all have someone waiting,
A love that treats us like no one has before,
Who heals the hidden wounds
We never knew existed,
Who loves us in ways
We've only dreamed about.
That's the magic of the universe, isn't it?
A quiet faith that there's someone
For each of us out there.
We just have to learn our lessons,
Make our mistakes,
Love the wrong ones far too many times,
And wait patiently, hearts open,
But above all, we must believe.
It will happen—
Maybe not today,
Not in a year, or two, or three,
But someday,
The universe will bring them to us.
