In the gaze of your eyes, where the darkness would glow.
I'd lose myself there, like I always did before,
In the depths of your soul, where my love still soars.
And though we're apart, with wounds left untold,
If the sky came crashing down, I'd still come to hold
You close, one last time, before everything ends—
No fear in the end, in the arms of a friend.
I'd tell you I love you, one final refrain,
In your warmth, I'd forget all the heartache and pain.
So let the world crumble, let the stars start to fall,
