It started with an uncomfortable feeling after lunch in your stomach, a small heaviness and feeling that made you too aware of your stomach. You tried to convince yourself that you were feeling just anxious after eating, so tried to suck it up. After the observation period you turn to your mom: - "Mom I don't feel so good, my stomach is kind of bothering me..."
- "It's probably just anxiety; don't think I didn't notice that you were trying to move your legs while eating and during the observation period...you're not pale or anything" Andrea said narrowing her eyes.
You just blushed in embarrassment, realizing you were caught. You just shrugged and went to get your book to read a bit, you and your mom were on one of the sofas reading, but you kept shifting positions because you were not feeling right. Andrea noticed but she thought you were just anxious about afternoon snack. After a while you fell asleep and your mom let you nap, she started wondering if you were really sick, because you usually didn't nap. She woke you up when it was time for afternoon snack, and you groaned as you opened your eyes.
- "Okay, you do look a bit pale right now... but still don't have a temperature. Maybe you're getting a cold or something" your mom said touching your forehead.
- "My stomach hurts" you complained.
- "It's time for afternoon snack, darling. I'll bring it to you if you don't want to go and walk to the kitchen" your mom suggested.
- "Mom, my stomach hurts, really. It's not about not eating, but I feel rubbish"
- "I'll make something soft, don't worry" your mom glared and left to the kitchen.
You held your head between your hands a bit desperate. You just stayed there and started hopping channels, waiting for your mom. She was back with an apple, some crackers and a yogurt.
- "Thanks" you mumbled.
- "Eat and then I'll give you some medicine" your mom said.
You did your best and ate everything with great difficulty. Your mom brought you some pills that you swallowed when you were done but you were exhausted and fell into a nap again. An hour into your nap, Tree and Taylor arrived from a day of intense work at the studio. Your mom greeted them kindly, and they looked at you sleeping on the couch concerned, you didn't usually sleep in the afternoons.
- "She's kind of sick... I already gave her some medicine" Andrea said.
- "Tay said she was feeling a bit rubbish too" Tree said, and Taylor nodded but said it was nothing and now she was feeling good.
- "Maybe you both caught it" Andrea said and then offered some coffee to Taylor and Tree, which they gratefully agreed to. You woke up suddenly, sweating and feeling awful.
- "I feel terrible" you said before running to the bathroom to be sick. Taylor ran behind you and held your hair while you threw up, then she helped you stand up and took you back to the living room. Andrea was back with the coffees and saw how pale, weak and sick you looked.
- "What's wrong?"
- "I've just been sick. I told you I was ill! Everything hurts" you said groaning.
- "Yeah, you did. I'm sorry, I just didn't want you getting out of food" Andrea said with a guilty expression. - "Just lay there and I'll bring you some water and more medicine"
You stayed there while they chatted, feeling miserable and they drunk their coffees and you had some water. After a while your mom asked Tree if she wanted to stay for dinner and she gratefully accepted, but you snapped out immediately: - "I can't eat! I'm feeling sick!"
