Tree got home after staying for another day at Taylor's. You and Taylor had still some stomachache but had stopped being sick, as well as your mom. Tree was tired, she jumped into the bathroom to take a hot shower and then head to bed. She did her skincare routine, dried her hair and then got under her covers, wanting to just sleep. Before turning the lights off she saw a text from Taylor, another from you and another from your mom.
"Thank you so much for taking care of my girls and me, very grateful to have you" Andrea's text read.
- "Thank you for coming and taking care of us. I'm sorry about the Pedialyte, it's just very scary, but I promise I'll eat to feel better soon" your text said.
- "Thank you for always being here for me and my family. You're truly amazing. If you start to feel unwell, don't hesitate to call me" Taylor texted the redhead.
She replied all the messages and emphasized in yours that she was not mad, just worried about you. She turned off the lights and closed her eyes, falling asleep quickly. Unfortunately, she woke at 3am sweating and her stomach aching. She groaned and told herself it was probably because she ate some soup she made for you for lunch, then had the same soup for dinner but didn't eat much, so she was probably hungry. She just turned around and tried to sleep, thinking about the big breakfast she was going to have. An hour later she woke up and ran to the bathroom, being sick. She convinced herself she didn't catch the stomach bug; she had just been sick once. She felt a bit better after throwing up, so she went back to sleep but over the next hours she kept being sick over and over again. She tried to keep herself hydrated but kept being sick. At 10am, just two hours after she managed to fall asleep again, her phone rang, it was Taylor.
- "Hello?" Tree's voice came croaky through the phone.
- "Hi Tree. I was calling to see if you also got the stomach bug, but I assume you did..."
Tree groaned as she forced her body up to sit down: - "Why would you assume that?"
- "Because you sound exhausted and didn't check up on me at 8am like you usually do when I've been sick, because you're always up early" Taylor said.
- "Yeah... I was not feeling great, but now I'm better. Don't worry. How are you?" Tree said taking a sip of water.
- "Lizzie and I are almost perfect now, our bellies are still in need of some TLC, so no rich or hard stuff. Mom is still a bit weak but better"
- "Glad to know that" the redhead said closing her eyes to reduce the dizziness she felt when she tried standing up.
- "I'm coming over" Taylor said.
- "No need! Don't worry. It's just a bug, I'll be fine" Tree said, knowing it was just a bug but feeling incredibly weak and tired after throwing up multiple times. They hung up and Tree managed to go to the bathroom because she needed to pee, she let her body collapse in the toilet as she sat there. She was exhausted, and realized she was probably dehydrating quickly. She wanted to go downstairs and see if she had a Pedialyte for herself or an electrolyte drink that could make her feel better, but she couldn't bring herself to stand up again. After some minutes she finally held herself against the wall and stood up, washed her hands, her face and prepared to go downstairs. She saw her bed and wanted to collapse onto it, but knew she needed to drink something that would hydrate her more, so she forced herself to continue. When she was about to go downstairs and see the first step, her stomach hurt badly again, and she needed to sit down. She then decided to go downstairs and see through the stairs moving through them while being seated, tugging her body down. When she was getting to the first floor, she heard the doorbell. She had no energy to stand up and open the door, she stayed there, feeling miserable. Taylor called her but before she could say anything, the redhead spoke:
