The ride on the bus was went fine -you sat with Erin because Lou wanted to sleep all the way since she didn't sleep much the night before- you talked with your friend, listened to some music, laughed and also slept. When you arrived to the town you were given your hotel keys, your friends decided that you should take care of them because you were the most responsible one.

- "On one trip last year Erin was the key holder and lost it on the first day" Lou said laughing.

- "So, we requested a copy the next day and guess who lost it that same afternoon?" Erin added and you all bursted into laugher. You had time to relax and settle, then you had to go to the main dining room for dinner. You were definitely anxious and remained quiet while you walked with your friends, they were joking around but you were too into your thoughts to pay attention to what they were saying. You felt the walls from the hall closing as you approached the main entrance, you took a deep breath and looked at the plates: chicken pasta with a side salad, the cream sauce was optional to add it if you wanted to. You sat down to eat and made an inner promise to yourself to eat everything; it wasn't that difficult since all your friends on the table were chatting away and you were playing games to keep yourself entertained, you decided to not add the cream sauce, but ate everything on your plate, even when some girls left a bit of food on their plate. You were very full and wished internally that you were going to do something before going to bed, you couldn't go to bed that full, but teachers said it was time to go your rooms because the next day was going to be full of adventures. You went back to your room and your friends said they were tired and couldn't wait to go to bed. Panic was slowly rising; you decided to take a shower to help you calm down but watching your body on the mirror and feeling it made you panic even more. You dried yourself quickly and put on the clean pajamas but kept staring at something: the toilet was right there -you could do what you were thinking, and no one would know- your turned away from the toilet in distress, when you spotted the envelope Taylor and Tree did gave you last night. You took one of the cards out and smiled widely as you read it: 'If you're feeling full after eating as is making you spiral' the other side said: 'Close your eyes. Count to ten and be conscious of your breathing. You're okay. There's nothing wrong with fueling your body, food doesn't need to be earned no matter how loud your mind is screaming the opposite thing. You've come so far and I'm so proud of you, this is another step towards life'. Your eyes welled up a bit and you hugged the piece of paper to your chest -closed your eyes and counted to ten. Taylor was right, this was another step, and you could do it- you put the card inside the envelope again, brushed your teeth and came out more calm, ready to sleep. You did some breathing exercises and ended up falling into a peaceful sleep.

The next day began early, you woke up and got ready quickly then headed to the main dining room. Breakfast was a buffet: there was scrambled eggs, toasts, cereal, milk, hot chocolate, yogurt and different types of fruits. You opted for a bowl of banana and strawberries, eggs and a bowl cereal with yogurt. First you added 3/4 of your portion, no one was going to know, you felt that rush, you were turning around to walk back to the table when you imagined your mom, Taylor and Tree narrowing their eyes at you, you quickly turned around and added a bit more of cereal -it was the right thing to do and you knew it- no matter how disappointed your head was telling you to be in yourself. After breakfast you all went back to your rooms, got ready with your swimming suits and sunscreen for the canopy. You knew exactly which card you needed to read, you looked for it inside the envelope and took it out, held it between your fingers and smiled widely while reading it: 'If you're feeling self-conscious about the swimming suit you're wearing', you turned it around and smiled more 'Remember all the fun you'll have in the activities and that no one will probably be paying attention much attention to your body: everyone is into their own head or focusing on doing well on canopy:)'.
