"So... We're going to be engaged for a little while longer," I say, trying to awkwardly change the subject.
"We are," Toby said.
"We might not even be able to get married for a few more months,"
"And?"
"And... That's a long time to wait."
"It is," Toby stated. He obviously didn't know what I was talking about.
I'm not talking about getting married. I'm talking about sex.
I know, it's gross, and I shouldn't be thinking about it, but Toby and I haven't had sex in seven months. We vowed to not do it again until we're married, but that was before other things got in the way.
I mean, a girl can only wait for so long.
I lean over and start kissing his neck. Surprisingly, he doesn't stop me. He immediately takes my shirt off and kisses my chest, leaving bold marks.
"Something about this doesn't feel right, but I like it." I mutter as his lips collide with mine.
"I love it." Toby says, "And I love you." He says after he removes my pants, leaving me in my underwear.

Toby and I laid on the couch, in each other's embrace. I loved everything about this moment. His warm body on mine, how gentle he was, the way his arms wrapped around my body.
He ran his finger along my jaw, tracing the outline of it.
"Beautiful." He said, leaning in for another kiss. It was long, and passionate, and meaningful. I didn't want this moment to end.
Of course, my phone had to ring, ruining the perfect moment.
I quickly grabbed Toby's shirt, and put it on. It smelled like his cologne. It gave me a warm feeling. I wanted to stay in this shirt forever.
"Hello?" I ask, making an effort to not sound irritated.
"Hey," a woman's muffled voice said, "it's Hanna."
"Hanna? Why are you calling me?" I ask. I was surprised she still had my number after our huge fight. I had deleted hers.
"Caleb and I broke up," she said, hysterically sobbing, "he cheated on me."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I mean, I could believe that Caleb would cheat on Hanna, but I couldn't believe that she called me, crying, as if she didn't expect this to happen. I warned her after Caleb hit on me.
"What do you want me to do about it?" I ask. I realized that I sounded a lot like my mother, before she entered rehab. Whenever I came to her with a problem, whether it be schoolwork or regular girl problems, she would always say, "What do you want me to do about it?" Instead of helping me like a normal mom would. Of course, she no longer did that, but the memories were now permanently engraved in my memory.
"I don't know, you were just the first person I thought about when it happened." Hanna replied. I could hear her sobbing slowly start to decrease, but she was still extremely upset.
"Hanna, I told you this would happen. You deliberately ignored me and cut me out of your life." I say.
"Look, I'm sorry. But can you just forget about all that and be there for me for a few minutes?" Hanna asked, her voice started to become harsh and cruel.
"You were my first real friend. You told me that you felt bad about all the horrible things you said about me in high school. When you left like that, it seemed like everything you told me was a lie." I tried to make sure Toby couldn't hear me. Thankfully, he was oblivious.
Hanna was silent for a long time.
"I'm sorry." She said in a quiet voice. She didn't sound like she was forced or sarcastic at all. Hanna actually sounded genuine.
"I'll meet you at the brew tomorrow. How does that sound?" I ask.
"That sounds great." Hanna said, right before we hung up.
