Hanna was a mess when she arrived at the brew. I had ordered my usual, extra large coffee with two sugars, but Hanna insisted she didn't want anything.
Hanna had no makeup on, and dark circles under her eyes. Her once soft, silky blonde hair was pulled back in a messy, oily ponytail. I could tell she was taking this breakup really hard.
"Tell me everything." I say as soon as Hanna sat down. I grab her hand, letting her know that it's okay to cry.
Hanna let a few tears stream down her face, but she was careful not to start sobbing again.
"Caleb cheated on me with some tramp. I don't remember her name, but I don't care. She's known as 'home wrecker' to me." Hanna stated.
"Hanna, I hate to say 'I told you so', but,"
"Please don't. I've already been judged by my parents. I don't need this from you."
"Hanna, one day, you're going to find a guy who will treat you like a princess, and make sure you'll look and spend money like one too," I joke.
"How are you so sure?" Hanna asked me, not laughing, and wiping a few tears away.
"Because you are so amazing. You're beautiful, you're funny, and you're so smart."
Hanna is silent for a few seconds. She wiped a few tears away, and then proceeded.
"Guys are assholes." Hanna said, causing me to laugh a little.
"Yeah, they can be." I agree.

Hanna and I caught up. After not seeing each other for six months, we had a lot to talk about.
I told her about how Toby and I are engaged. I left out the rehearsal dinner drama. I didn't want her to get offended that I didn't invite her to my wedding.
"When are you guys getting married?" Hanna asked.
"We were supposed to a while ago, but things kept coming up." I say, and Hanna understood, so she nodded.
Hanna gasped. "I know a great place you can get married!" She exclaimed.
It startled me, but I didn't make it visible. "Where?" I asked.
"My stepdad owns a ranch over in Bucks County." She said.
"Oh, I don't know Han," I said. The idea of a ranch wedding didn't really appeal to me.
"No, trust me. It's perfect. It's so beautiful. You can hardly tell it's a ranch." She insists. She pulls out her phone and shows me pictures. I had to admit, it was beautiful. There was a big lake surrounding a rather large venue, with a hill that would be perfect for watching the sun set.
"Wow, it's perfect. How much would it cost to have a wedding there?" I ask, bracing myself for an expensive price. Nothing that beautiful could be free.
"Spencer, my mom hasn't stopped talking about how amazing you are since we became friends. You're practically family. We'll take care of it."
"Are you serious?" I ask in disbelief.
"I insist. So, what do you say?"
"Yes! Oh my god, yes!" I exclaim and hug Hanna.
