There we were, back in Rosewood. A place I never thought I'd be in again. We moved into Toby's old house, and Melissa quickly moved out after meeting a man named Jacob, whom she later married. Valerie struggled adjusting to the move at first, but she quickly recovered and couldn't have been happier. Claire was safer in the new town, and made lots of new friends. Toby got a job designing houses in Rosewood, and once in a while he would go out of town to help design and build other buildings.

I went back to teaching creative writing at Rosewood High. Jason came to Rosewood High after a couple months, and taught algebra and coached basketball there. We became close, and he actually ended up marrying Brittany Rollins, the teacher who I assisted for during the school shooting. They had four kids, three boys and a girl.

We were happy and safe. And it was ironic how we ended up in a place we wanted to leave so badly before.

I laid next to Toby in bed, in his embrace. I wouldn't be where I am today without him. He could've just walked away when he saw me with my family, thirteen years ago. But he took a chance on me. He saw the broken, neglected, mistreated girl and fixed her. He helped me through my tough times, and I helped him through his. I'm nothing without him.

Rosewood was a place Toby and I once called hell, and now we're on cloud nine, perfectly happy with our two little girls. With everything we went through, we're lucky that we still had each other.

Toby and I would love each other until our dying days. The world was a perfect place with him.

Come what may, Toby Cavanaugh would always be my forever.
