He doesn't know that I know. He just kissed another woman, who was not his wife, on his own wedding day, and didn't even bother to tell me.

Is he hiding something? Did he actually enjoy that kiss?

As we left the wedding venue to go to a hotel, I could tell that Toby was still thinking about it. He seemed so uncomfortable. Like he was building up the courage to say something.

"Hey, is everything okay?" I ask Toby in the car. We would stay the night at a hotel, then make our way to the airport tomorrow. He was going to surprise me for our honeymoon.

"Yeah, everything's fine." He said, making an effort to change his facial expression.

I didn't want to do this now. Not on our honeymoon. I didn't want to confront him. This has to be our time to ourselves. The time we're supposed to be spending together, in love, having just celebrated our love becoming stronger. Not fighting everyday. "Okay." I say, close to giving up. I'll confront him about it when our honeymoon is over.

We arrive at the hotel, only staying there for the night. Once we get settled in, Toby wants to go straight to bed.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay up for a bit? We could get a pizza," I said, trying my best to convince him to stay up and talk.

"I'm actually pretty tired. Maybe some other time." Toby said. He seemed so out of it. Like he had no energy. He didn't even kiss me goodnight, like he always does.

What was going on in his head?

I woke up in the middle of the night, automatically feeling like something was wrong. Something in the atmosphere didn't feel right. I didn't know what it was, but I was determined to find out. My arm was wrapped around Toby, however, he was hogging all of the blanket. I pulled the blanket over, taking them from him.

But it wasn't Toby. It was a pillow.

He was gone.
