Santana always knew that she was fighter. She fought her way through life. She was strong.
Maribel told her take risk and to live the life she wanted and not what other people wanted for her. Santana knew that her mother was probably wild and out of control, but she liked it that way.
Her life was about taking the road less taken. The road that very little people dared to walk on. The one that other people feared to take. She walked right through the road like there wasn't anything holding her back.
Maribel had taught her right. Don't give into the easy way. Fight for what you believe in. Don't let anyone else decide anything for you.
One day, she would get the choice to whether to sit it out or dance. She would dance.
