Okay, it may seem a little harsh, but honestly, after all I had to put up with today? And my punches never really hurt him, I was just going for a little Ow or something. So I punched him as hard as I could, right in his perfectly stupid six pack. I expected him to groan or grab his stomach. What I didn't expect was to hear a cracking noise.
******CRACK!!!!!!******
My hand rebounded back to me and my brothers and I immediately looked at Dylan to gauge if he was alright. Then I felt a throbbing pain in my right hand. I looked down and saw my hand looking slightly weird and then heard a scream. My brothers looked at me in shock and I realized the scream was coming from me.
The boys realized what happened a minute before me. Nick, Talen, and Dylan bust out laughing, and tried to cover it, as Blake guided me into the car, where I sat in the back. Blake drove and Dylan hopped in next to me, holding a bag of ice, while I looked around in confusion. Nick and Talen were staying home? Then it hit me.
Now I never ever curse but I admit with my hand throbbing and seeing Dylan's sorta self satisfied face pushed me off the edge. I screamed furiosuly "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!" at Dylan. "Now, now" he said "Is that how a well behaved little girl is supposed to-" I cut him off. "YOU BROKE MY HAND YOU FUCKING BASTARD! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH THIS FUCKING HURTS? HOLY SHIT IT'S LIKE BEING KICKED IN THE BALLS BUT A MILLION TIMES WORSE!!!" I yelled. Dylan snorted, and said "Umm... Kota, darling? May I remind you that you are the one who punched me?" I hated when logic was thrown in my face.
My hand kept throbbing until I practically couldn't take it. I just started to cry. Gosh, could this night get any worse??? Dylan wrapped an arm around me and made shushing noises. "Don't worry, we're almost there, baby. It's okay. It's gonna be okay." he reassured me. I kept bawling until suddenly we got to the hospital. I tried to stop crying and open the door when suddenly Blake opened the door, picked me up and started walking inside. "I can- *sniffle* - walk." I complained. He just pulled me tighter into his iron arms and walked up to the counter. A nurse said the doctor would see me shortly and she directed me into a room, Dylan followed and we went into a room, where Blake set me down on the paper covered bed. Blake left the room to fill out any extra information about our parents or family, while Dylan tried to distract me.
Soon a doctor came in and gave my hand an X Ray. He told Blake and Dylan that I had only broken my knuckle. He then taped together my fingers and gave me a splint to be worn for a few weeks. He also and the nurse give me some painkillers. Then, he began asking questions, trying to gauge if my brothers had abused me or not probably.
He first turned to me and said "So why did you hit your hand?"
I answered "I punched something hard and it just broke."
He asked "What did you punch, a brick wall? That was likely the problem. "
I replied, looking awkwardly at Dylan...
"No.. I punched his abs." I said, nodding at Dylan, as he smirked.
The doctor laughed sightly at that but after a few more questions that confirmed I was alright, let us leave. When we got in the car, Blake gave me some painkillers. "This may make you a bit woozy." he informed me. When I started to see stars and my head felt like it was spinning, I knew it worked. When we got home, Dylan carried me inside and set me on his bed. Blake followed and tucked me in.
"I think you should stay home tomorrow." Blake said, "But I have a giant presentation to do so I can't stay and watch you." he looked afraid. "I can." Dylan volunteered, "I was planning to ditch tomorrow anyways." Blake turned to fight that but realized what a big help it would be if he could stay. "Great, then it's decided." I thought I heard him say. In a few seconds, I saw Talen and Nick heads swirl above me, speaking in a language I couldn't understand. I sunk into darkness and resurfaced about an hour later. I felt the bed sink by my side and saw Dylan hopping into bed. I curled up next to him as he settled down and he looked over in shock. I smiled at him and suddenly saw two of him. They both gave a half smile, and said good night. I cuddled closer to the warmth and felt an arm wrap around me before I finally drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
