After telling him easily that I loved him too, which was far too easy to do, Chris and I wandered around for a while longer and then when we noticed the sun was dipping a little lower we decided to go back. We walked back to my house and went inside to the room where everyone was still gathered. They had finished their game but were all lying around and talking or on their phones. Kyle informed me as we entered that Aubrey and Taylor were gone getting a couple pizzas for everyone. We took a seat and everyone looked up and seemed unusually happy that we were back.
"Kota! You're back!" Dylan said, sliding over towards us across the couch.
"Yes I am..." I said suspiciously.
"Good!" he said, getting closer to me. Now that was very suspicious.
"Whyyyy?" I asked, trying to scoot closer to Chris and further from him.
"Because we're bored." he said with a smile.
I stood up and stepped back as he walked slowly closer like a predator stalking his prey.
"We?" I asked talking another step back before I stumbled over Mason's purposefully outstretched foot and my question was answered for me.
I yelled a little as I fell but was caught in a second. I looked up to thank Chris but saw that Blake had caught me.
"Thank you..." I said uncertainly.
"I wouldn't thank me yet!" he said with a scary smile. I knew that smile all too well. I took off, leaping over Mason and the others before sprinting towards the stairs. I had gotten maybe halfway when I was tackled down and caught. Blake gave an evil sort of laugh before suddenly swinging me up and throwing me over his shoulder. I screamed, probably over dramatically, and called to Chris to help but Blake was already taking us out into the backyard.
I pounded my hands, ineffectually like always, against him and he just laughed and said "Damn you're weak." Derek, Kyle and Mason followed us outside while Dylan tried to wrestle to keep Chris from protecting me. They were both laughing, though.
"NUH UH!" I yelled back like always. And, like always, he just laughed more. He raced us over then suddenly towards the trampoline and threw me in head first.
I bounced against the side a couple of times and it kind of hurt but it wasn't anything I wasn't used to. I scooted back into a corner on my butt and looked up to see that Derek, Kyle, and Mason had climbed in and Blake was already halfway in. I was trapped. I made a wild dash for the entrance, planning to... oh, i don't know, maybe crash into Blake and miraculously get out and back in the house unscathed. Wishful thinking, I know.
Before I even got close, Derek grabbed me and threw me back down with a laugh. It was way too easy for him to do.
I decided to at least have my dignity and take a chance so I stood up and said "Let me leave."
Blake, who was in at this point, spun towards me and walked closer. When my eyes were even with a button on his shirt, he said "What did you just say, baby?"
My stomach dropped and I could feel my heart begin to race.
"Let me out." I said quietly, still focused on his shirt.
"Awwww, is Kota scared?" Dylan asked, coming outside and sticking something in front of the door to block Chris from coming to my rescue.
He walked over to the side of the net that I was leaning against and pushed me through it, closer towards Blake and the others.
"NO!" I defended myself angrily.
Blake laughed and suddenly clamped his hands on my shoulders then spun me towards the others. My necklace whipped me in the eye and my long hair twisted around my face too. He shoved me towards Derek, who pushed me immediately towards Mason, and then back to Blake, and so on. Finally, Kyle gave one big shove and I was so dizzy that I fell straight onto the center and couldn't get up. It looked like there were hundreds of them, which it felt like there practically were.
