At school the next day I was sitting on a bench waiting for English to start with a girl named Jessica, who was in a couple of my classes but I had never really talked to. All I knew about her was that she was pretty and an amazing singer. After a couple minutes of chatting though, I found out that she had older brothers just like mine. Finally, someone who knew the struggle. After sharing horror stories and waiting for the teacher to show up for a couple minutes, another girl came over to us. I didn't at all recognize her so I was a little surprised when she said "Dakota Hastings!"
"Ummm... do I know you?" I asked, racking my brain but getting nothing from this peculiar and tall green eyed, red haired girl.
"No!" She said, excitedly and sort of out of breath.
"Oh... okay then??" I asked, questioningly. The girl sat on the other side of Jess and said "I know you though! Dylan, Talen, Blake, Nick!!" Man did this girl ever take a breath?
"Actually those are my brothers. Not me." I said, trying to be nice about it and not seem upset. But some people seemed to think it was one in the same.
"Oh I know! But you know them!" she said squealing.
"I suppose that's true." I said with a somewhat forced chuckle, exchanging a 'who is this chick?' look, with Jess.
The girl squealed yet again and said "My GOD, they're so amazing! I would SO love to have older brothers like them!!"
At this point Jess and I rolled our eyes simultaneously and laughed.
The girl laughed too and said "What??"
"No you would not." I explained.
"Yes I would!!" she argued.
"And why is that?" I asked.
"Because they're so funny and cute and could teach me stuff and we could hang out all the time!" she explained further.
"One; they're not funny they're torturous demons. Two; EW. Three; the only thing they've taught me is how to take a hit. And four; If I spent all my time with them I would not have made it to age 16." I tried to say in the nicest way possible.
The girl, who I found out was named Sarah, smiled and sighed dreamily. "They're still so cute though."
I face palmed and Jess laughed.
I looked around for the teacher, who was still nowhere in sight. "Okay you guys, get comfy. It's time for a little story." The girls leaned down against the bench and I began the tragedy that was my life.

It was about a year ago, in the middle of April, and rain was pouring down outside. Naturally, my brothers locked me out of the house, and died of laughter when I came back in soaking wet and freezing.
I shook my hair ferociously, splattering every one and thing in sight. It covered the boys, until Blake threw a towel at my face and said "Hey! Quit it."
"Dude!! You hit my eye!" I yelled, holding the towel in one hand and my face in the other.
"Dude! You should've caught it better!" he mocked back in my voice.
I grrrred and they laughed, but less so, before walking into the other room. Bored with me now that their fun was over.

"See? Bad humans." I said, giving her only one brief story of millions.
Sarah said "Omg I can picture them all laughing and pretty."
