I woke up and it was Monday, just perfect. Blake had to wake me up because I forgot to set an alarm, and school was just awful, not a good reason for me to wake up. He had to steal my blanket, then physically drag me out of my bed. I got ready in a couple minutes, then we blasted off to school and I sighed when we got there.
Luckily, my door was opened almost immediately by Chris, who pulled me into a tight warm hug, then pulled my chin up a little with his hand. His eyes looked into mine deeply and he said "I missed you, cutie." before his lips pressed against mine softly. What kind of romance novel was this?
A minute later my back was shoved by Dylan who practically knocked me off my feet, and I remembered. Not a romance novel. Some kind of messed up non fiction.
I walked into school, my hand intertwined with Chris's, and met up with my friends. Reilly and Penelope hugged me immediately and we talked about our weekends and parties coming up. Then I went into class. For some reason, I suddenly started to feel not so well. My stomach was KILLING me. I know I forget breakfast, but this pain was awful. My friend Ethan tried to talk to me during English but I was mostly just nodding and smiling barely. I had to get food!
At lunch, I paid for lunch since I was too lazy to pack one, and I scarfed it down ravenously, and chugged chocolate milk. After a little, my stomach calmed down and I praised the lord.
Walking to my last class of the day, I sat beside Chris and we took turns drawing on a doodle and expanding till it filled an entire page. Not the best way to spend a science class maybe, but because it was the end of the year almost, I was kind of just coasting.
After school, the boys and i walked home and the stomach pain hit again. I grabbed my stomach and thought back, maybe it was the chocolate milk or something?? School cafeteria food is so sketch.
Dylan noticed me starting to lag behind so he walked over to me and put a hand on my back, rubbing my shoulder.
"You okay, kid?" he asked me, concern in his voice.
I looked up in anger, and tore his arm from me, "I AM NOT A KID DYLAN GOSH GET IT THROUGH YOUR FUCKING HEAD FOR ONCE!"
His mouth dropped open, and Talen and Nick turned to face us, their mouths dropping open as well.
Oops. Despite the pain in my stomach, I took off running because it was my only option. I tore through Mrs. Johnstons flower garden and leapt over the fence and into our back yard, and then house. I sprinted up into my room and jumped under the covers. My stomach was killing me still, ugh. The boys would still be a couple minutes if they were walking, so I cuddled down into my sheets and decided to take a small nap.
I woke up hours later feeling incredibly well rested, and I was in complete shock. I wasn't murdered yet??
My room was dark but the hall was well lit so I saw the second Talen walked by.
"Talen!!" I hissed, waving a hand to invite him in. He smiled and walked in closer to me.
"Sup Kota?" he asked, pushing his messy hair back.
"Why am I not dead yet?" I asked, clearly referencing the event from earlier.
He laughed and said "One; you look cute asleep. Two; Dylan wanted to wait for Blake to be home to punish you I think." He squirmed a little at the end and I sighed.
"It's okay, I'll be fine." I said to him smiling and sitting up, letting the blankets slip down off my body and onto the floor.
Suddenly, without warning, Talen let out a girly scream and said
