The next day I spent daydreaming about the party, which would be tomorrow night. I texted Luke and he told me he got an invite too and couldn't wait to see me there. He offered me a ride but I told him that Blake made me agree to drive with Dylan, Talen, and Nick. That would be a fun car ride.
Basically, I spent the morning out with Emma and Blake, getting the perfect outfit for the party. Blake mostly sat in the chairs outside the dressing room, while Emma helped me pick out the perfect outfit. When we finally found the right one, Blake kindly paid for it and then dragged us to the grocery store to pick up meat for the BBQ he was planning for tonight.
When we got home, Emma went upstairs to relax and I went to the garage to get a soda while Blake and Talen cooked outside. I walked in and noticed that the light was already on. I looked around confused and saw that Dylan, Eric, and Nick were chilling down there, sitting on the hood of the car.
"Kota, you're back!" said Eric, oddly happily.
"Yep." I said, walking to the fridge to get my drink.
"Hey, we have time before we eat, right?" Eric said, stepping in front go the door.
Dylan and Nick chuckled. Eric said "Why don't we fight?" with a wicked grin.
"That's okay." I said, trying to step around him.
"Come on," Dylan said "toughen up, Baby."
"Maybe we'll teach you something." Eric said.
"Okay, just don't hurt me." I said.
"No promises." Eric said, walking closer.
He raised his fists and I flinched, backing up. He smirked pityingly and lifted my hands up to match his own. We messed around for a little while and it actually wasn't that awful. He punched me a few times, but it was pretty light and I wasn't bruised afterwards, for the first time ever. Dylan and Nick watched and participated sometimes but they were pretty nice too. Until Eric said "Okay, time to put that training to use." He lifted his huge fists up and his giant muscles flexed. I gulped.
"Time for dinner!" we heard Blake yell from the house.
I sighed in relief and ran as fast as I could upstairs. Everyone was outside so we went out and I inhaled the delicious smell of smoke from the grill. I then grabbed a cheeseburger and we ate dinner outside at our glass table next to the pool and trampoline. Even though my parents had passed away, they had left us this house and paid it off for years. I didn't know what we would do when it stopped, but for now, I was grateful to sit by the pool and enjoy the view. I could hardly enjoy it, though, because throughout dinner, Dylan and Eric were glaring at me and smiling. At least Nick wasn't though, he seemed to be a little scared that Blake would find out and punish them. I waited as long as I could at the table and so did Dylan and Eric, until Blake said "Hey Kota, can you go get me a jacket?"
"Do I have to?" I asked, glancing at Dylan and Eric, who just smiled.
He shot me a look and said "Now, remind me, aren't I giving you something tomorrow? Something about a party?" He faked not knowing.
"Alright." I said, groaning and standing up. I sprinted inside, hoping to beat the others and get back to the table. I ran up to Blake's room, grabbed a random jacket, and ran down the stairs. Once I reached the bottom, I turned the corner quickly and crashed straight into Dylan and Eric. They smiled and each grabbed one of my shoulders and turned me around, dragging me back to the garage.
Once we got to the bottom, they started the fighting. Since I'm not even 100 pounds and each of them can hold 150 pounds easily, it wasn't a very fair fight. I tried to fight back but they were way stronger and faster. They each punched me a few times in the arms and stomach and then eventually let me go, laughing. I got back inside and picked up Blake's jacket, bringing it out to the backyard. I handed it to him and started walking inside until I felt a sharp smack on the back of my head.
"What was that for?!" I asked, as I grabbed the now probably bruised back of my head.
"It took you like an hour to get me my jacket. What, were you just watching TV or something?" Blake said.
I just groaned and walked inside. He wouldn't understand.
When I got to my room, I plopped face down onto my bed and sighed. My shoulder ached and my arms felt like they were gonna fall off. Sometimes, I just hate my brothers.

The picture up top was added because I was super hungry when I wrote this. And I'm sick so I can't eat anything good right now. :(
