MARISSA POV;

"Wait... Marissa Callahan?!" I heard someone coming towards me. "Hey." I said once I realized it was Luna. She used to be my nurse when I went here in my younger years, which is something no one knew about besides Demi and my family, and I'd like to keep it that way.

"Oh my god are you okay?" She asked but once I wanted to reply the receptionist told Luna to get back to her work.

SAMMIE POV:

"I'm Michelle, it's really brave of you to ask for help. We were expecting you already. Just put your bags right here and I'll show you your room and introduce you to your nurse and room mate. You can say goodbye to your family first." Michelle, the receptionist, said.

Time to say goodbye.

"You're gonna get through this baby. I believe in you." Marissa hugged me.

"So do I. I know you can get through this and I love you. We're proud of you." Demi said and then kissed me.

"You ready?" Michelle asked me so I nodded and walked through the building with her.

Once we arrived at my room there was one girl. She was doing something with paint I guess.

"Sammie, this is McKenzie, McKenzie, this is Sammie." Michelle said. She walked up to me and shook my hand. "Call me Kenzie." She said. "Call me Sam." We laughed.

We walked into the nurse's office and a young, around 22 old, girl was sitting there.

"Hey Sammie. My name is Anna and I'll be your nurse for the next few months." She shook my hand and I just nodded. "Hi."

We walked out of her office and Michelle explained some stuff.

"You and your room mate both have the same nurse. She's specialised in helping people with an eating disorder. You'll have breakfast at 8, lunch at 12, fruit at 3 and dinner at 6. The therapy sessions are for everybody, they are daily at 4 but make sure you're there at least 5 minutes before it starts." She explained and I nodded.

"You can go back to your room now. See you at dinner in 30. Stay strong." She gave me a small hug and then walked back to the reception.

"Hey, Kenzie right?" She rolled her eyes and then laughed. "The fact you almost forgot my name already can't be a good sign." I laughed with her. "I'm sorry it's just a lot to take in you know." She nodded. "So, Sam, tell me a little about yourself." She looked at me.

"My name is Sammie Callahan, I was adopted when I was born but I found my birth mother and am now living with her due family problems. I'm 18 years old and that's pretty much it. I'm not that interesting y'know." I said. "How about you?"

"My name is McKenzie Jauregui. I've been here since 4 months. I'm 15. I usually spend my time in bed or in the music room. I also like painting, which is why I've got all of that stuff. My therapist told me I should do things I like to keep the bad stuff off my mind. You know, it's gonna be a hard and long way back to healthy, but I promise it'll get better in time." She smiled at me.

"You've been here for so long. Aren't you heading out soon? I only got a treatment for like 3 months probably, if everything goes right." I told her.

"Well, I wasn't too easy, especially in the start. It's just been really hard for me but I'm finally doing better so we'll see. They won't let you go before they are a 100% sure you're better." She looked down.

"Hey if you ever need someone just know that I'm here." I said and she walked up to me to hug me. "Same goes to you."

"But wait, your last name is Jauregui? As in a relative from Lauren Jauregui?" I looked into her eyes. "Yeah, basically, she's my older half-sister." She said and I just let it sink in.

"You know, it's so funny how big the world is but yet so small. I was just on tour with Lauren and the girls 2 days ago and now I am meeting her sister, while I didn't even knew she had one."

"Wait why were you on tour with them?" She looked surprised. "I'm a singer. I actually just started my career and this was my first tour ever. Things turned out bad as you can see since I'm here right now. But yeah Lauren is one of my good friends." I chuckled.

"Girls, time for dinner." Anna came in to take us with her. Once we came there, there were 8 tables and 3 persons on every table, 1 nurse and 2 patients.

They got me a plate with rice on it and 5 small parts of chicken. I used to love this but now I just can't seem to get over the fact at how fat I'll be once I get out of here.

"Sammie I know this is not going to be easy but you do want to get better, right?" Anna asked and I nodded. "So try. Do it for yourself. You can do this."

It took me about 20 more minutes to eat a full plate. I cleaned my stuff and went back to the tables but once I saw the woman from this morning I had to ask her what it was about. How does she know Marissa?

"Hey." I sat down next to her. "Hey, Sammie right?" She asked so I nodded. "Can I ask you something?" I asked her. "Sure."

"How do you know Marissa? She's my mom." She looked at me. "She used to be one of my patients when I just started working here."

"Did she go into rehab? For what?" I asked again. "I'm not sure if it's my place to tell honey, I'm sorry."

She explained how she can't give out any information about her patients or ex-patients, which I understand. I'll just talk about it with her this weekend.

I walked back to my room till I walked by the music room. I decided to go inside and play the piano.

Just how it all began.

"Like a small boat on the ocean
Sending big waves into motion
Like how a single word
Can make a heart open
I might only have one match
But I can make an explosion

And all those things I didn't say
Wrecking balls inside my brain
I will scream them loud tonight
Can you hear my voice this time?

This is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I'm alright song
My power's turned on
Starting right now I'll be strong
I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me."

"That was amazing."
