Chapter 20

SAMMIE POV:

"No I mean, next to me. Just, hold me." I grinned. "Don't overthink this you doofus I just miss Demi and you're like my only friend I really trust." I said.

"Sure smol bean. Only because you're Sammie Callahan." She joked. "Shut up Dinah Jane Hansen."

We talked for a little longer till I felt myself drifting off to sleep. "Goodnight beautiful." I heard Dinah say, and with that I fell into dream land.

DEMI POV:

I just had my show done. I invited a few fans to sing on stage with me once again. I also invited Bird and Angel to stay backstage, it's Angel's birthday today so that's basically why, plus I like having Bird nearby me.

Bird and Angel were waiting for me in my dressing room. Even though I'm exhausted and all sweaty I promised to talk to Angel for a little so I did. Always keep your promises close to you or you lose people.

"Hey Bird, hey Angel, happy birthday." I hugged her, then Bird and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Trust me it's nothing big we're just good friends.

"So did you guys like the show tonight?" I asked them. "Yeah it was great Demi!" They said in common. "Well well I can see you two are sisters." We all laughed.

"So basically I kinda have to get ready to go back to the hotel but we could meet up tomorrow if y'all want it? Going out for dinner, for your birthday Angel. You can also bring a friend if you want. Just the three or four of us. Like that?"

She nodded and hugged me. After a few minutes they wanted to leave but I grabbed Bird's hand. "Thanks for coming tonight, it means a lot." She smiled at me and we both looked eachother in the eyes. "I ehm have to go Angel is waiting. Bye see you tomorrow! Thanks for tonight." She hugged me and left. That was awkward.

I grabbed my stuff and walked to the bus. Obviously paparazzi is everywhere which is frustrating and very annoying. I just walked past them and got into my bus. I laid down and could quickly feel myself falling asleep.

SAMMIE POV:

Next day

"Goodmorning Dinah J." I said as I woke up and saw her doing her make up. "Morning Sammie C." I laughed and got out of bed.

"Have you up for long?" I asked. "Not really, just an hour or so. Your mom is home again, she told me she'd make us breakfast, like, 5 minutes ago." I nodded and walked to the bathroom.

I took a quick hot shower, put on some fresh clothes and make up. I'm going to the studio with Dinah and the girls today to see if they can make things up.

"GIRLS BREAKFAST." I heard Marissa scream from downstairs. We got up and walked over to the kitchen and it smells delicious. Too sad food makes you fat.

I got some eggs and bread. Dinah got eggs, bacon, bread and fruit. So did Marissa.

I ate half of it and went upstairs to grab my shoes and phone. Since Dinah and Marissa were still eating I decided to just quickly check my phone. 5 new messages, 20+ twitter notifications and endless instagram notifications. I should actually put them off cause it's slightly annoying.

She added a photo of me sleeping with my head buried into her chest. She also posted it on instagram, that explains the endless notifications.

I went downstairs and walked to the kitchen. "Ready Dinah J?" I grinned. "Ready Sammie C." We laughed and she got up to grab her shoes.

"Mom we're going to the studio, will you be home tonight? I miss you." She walked up to me and hugged me. "I won't be baby but I will be tomorrow. Have fun today and say hi from me to the girls. I love you." She kissed my forehead and I nodded. I love being home but it's different now that she's working almost every day. It's no fun. I also have to miss Demi every day, but she seems to be having a great time so I'll let her be.

"Let's go." I heard Dinah say so I grabbed my jacked and walked to my car. "Bye mom I love you."

"Have fun girls." She smiled and waved at us once we drove off.

I put the music louder so we could sing along with it and so we did.

After a few minutes we arrived at the studio. Dinah took my hand, knowing I get anxious through all the paparazzi. She my best friend y'all.

We got inside and immediately saw the girls. "HEY" they all screamed and ran up to us. Camila gave me a big bear hug and so did Lauren. Normani and Ally gave me a hug also. I let them go do their things in the studio so I sat down and took my phone.

I haven't heard from Demi all day so I decided to call her.

Facetime audio call
S: Hey baby.
D: Hey Sam what's up?
S: Nothing I just miss you loads.
D: I miss you too babygirl.
S: I miss your kisses, your hugs, your smile, your laughter, your body on mine, I miss you.
D: I know babe me too. You know I'm coming back in two days right?
S: Yeah I do, it's just that I'm not used to being far away from you.
D: I understand. Anyways I really have to go I'm going out for dinner for a friend's birthday. See you soon baby.
S: Bye Dems. I love you.

She ended the call and left me bored. I looked over to the lonely studio. The girls were in the bigger one, right besides this one. I checked if the door was open, and it was. So I walked inside and put on some headphones. I scrolled through my music to see what song I could sing. What about Fight Song? This song means a lot to me. I think it's mainly about how you're believing in yourself while no one else does.

"Who are you?" I heard a male's voice say.

"Sammie. Sammie Callahan."

I then looked up to him and saw who's actually standing in front of me.
