Chapter 19

DEMI POV:

"Hey I didn't know you were staying at this hotel too?" She said. "Yea I am but just for a few nights, to be off the bus." I hugged her. "Let's head inside."

We went inside the hotel and walked around to check everything out. It's a great place. Loads of windows, mirrors, lights, food and bars. There's also a spa which is pretty fucking great.

Turns out I've got room number 114 and she's got 251. We hugged eachother and I told her to text me once she has time.

I grabbed my stuff and walked to my room. I put everything down and just laid down. I have been so extremely busy lately and I'm tired as fuck. Just want some rest.

I laid down for a little longer till my phone started buzzing.

"Hey it's me Bird."

I smiled and texted her back.

"Hey Bird. Wanna hang out tonight?"

I also got some other messages and twitter notifications.

---From Sam---
"How are you? Are you at the hotel? Stay safe. I love you."

---From Marissa---
"How was the flight? Xx."

"@MarissaCallahan: Some things never change 🤔."

"@SammieCallahan: Maybe I just fell in love with the way you stared at me. I saw you soul and your heart. I saw you."

I texted both of them back and locked my phone to take a shower. Bird said she could meet me for dinner in about an hour so I had to hurry.

I took a shower, put on some eyeliner, mascara and dark red lipstick. I chose a black oversized shirt, blue jeans and sneakers. It's my day off so I'm not planning on dressing all up.

I walked down the hallways to the stairs and went down the stairs. Once I came downstairs I saw Bird waiting for me.

"Hey girl you look stunning." I said and hugged her. "Thank you Demi so do you. Let's get dinner I'm starving." I nodded and we headed our ways to dinner.

"It's your first time in Brazil?" I asked. "Yeah it is. I wanted to go earlier to visit my sister but I couldn't due my work and family at home. How about you? Ever been here?" She smiled. God she's precious.

Almost as precious as Sam.

"I have been here once but only for 2 days. I'm staying a whole week now so it's gonna be fun." And with that, the waiter brought us our dinner. "Enjoy your meals ladies." We thanked him and he walked off.

"This shit is delicious." I said and she just grinned. "I know."

We talked all night long, got some wines and beers but then it was time to leave. Already 1AM.

She walked with me to my hotel room and then we hugged. "I had a really nice time with you Demi." She said. "Me too Bird. It was fun hanging out with you." I gave her a kiss on the cheek, then waved at her and closed the door. God what is happening.

"Goodnight beautiful."

I texted her the same back and put my phone down.

Today has been lowkey crazy. Time to get some rest.

Next day

I woke up and grabbed my phone to see what time it was. It's 9AM. 9AM.

I'm exhausted but I've got interviews today which means I have to get up.

I took a quick shower, washed my face once again and put on fresh make up and clothes once I heard my phone vibrating.

Incoming call
S: Hey baby.
D: Hey Sam how are you?
S: Good! How are you?
D: Me too but I really have to go, got interviews. I'll call later.
S: Sure...bye then. Stay safe.
D: Bye.

SAMMIE POV:

Ok what just happened. She was acting so extremely different. Well maybe it's just the stress, or she's still tired from the flight, maybe a jetlag. It's probably nothing to worry about.

I texted Dinah to come over and she will be here in about 10 minutes so I quickly brought some junkfood upstairs and got ready. We're having a movieday so I'm not bothering to do my make up neither put on normal clothes. Just PJ's, movies and food.

Once I was done I heard the doorbell ring. Perfectly on time.

"Hey Dinah!" I hugged her. "Hey Samson how are you? Haven't seen you in so long!" She said and hugged me again.

We have been close lately. We're texting a lot and I really think we could be great friends.

"Let's head upstairs and I'll tell you about it." We walked to my room and put down Dinah's stuff. She's sleeping over so she won't have to walk back in the dark.

"So tell me." She started.

"Well I've been great actually. Marissa is really nice for me but she has been extremely busy lately, though I love her. Also things with Demi and I are great again. I'm now living here with Marissa and life is just... Good. What about you?" I smiled at her.

"Hmm that sounds great Sam! I'm glad you're doing well." She smiled. "About me, I haven't been perfectly fine. As you know I live with the girls but as you also know Camila and Lauren have been in a fight for pretty long now. It's starting to get worse and I'm not sure what to do. But besides that I'm doing well. Now let's put on Frozen I can't wait!!!!" She said excitingly.

I put on Frozen but decided to ask Dinah something after about 10 minutes.

"Dinah?"

"Yes?"

"What happened between Lauren and Camila?" I asked.

"They were dating, but turns out Lauren made her do things she didn't want to. I have no idea what that exactly means but no good. Then a week after your birthday it all led me to another side of the story which is that Camila was using drugs when she told me that. I told Normani and Ally about it and they don't know what to do, just like me. But do not tell anybody about this. I trust you." She said and I took her hand. "Don't worry Dinah I won't tell anyone."

"Maybe you all should talk, as a group. Tell eachother how you feel about the situation and find a solution together." I said.

She smiled at me and thanked me. We laid down for half an hour till Demi facetimed me.

Demi: Hey you!
S: Hey. Where are you? Is that some kind of studio?
Dinah: Hey Dems!
Demi: Yes I'm currently in an interview and they wanted me to facetime you. And hey Dinah. Having fun together?
Dinah: Ofcourse, we're both queens anyways so.
S: That's so true Dinah high five.
Demi: Well anyways, Sam I'll call you tonight. Have fun girls!
S: Have fun baby. Take care.
Dinah: Bye Demi!

"Well that was unexpected. Now we're going viral in our hoodies and buns. How fantastic does that sound?" Dinah joked. "Shut up creep. Eat some food." I punched her arm. She acted like she got hurt but she's the worst actress I've ever met.

We spent rest of the day and night like this. Talking, stupid jokes, food, movies and pillow fights. I like Dinah, she's a nice girl.

"Dinah?" I asked.

"That's me."

"Do you want to sleep with me tonight?"

"Of course you doofus I'm already sleeping here." She grinned.

"No I mean, next to me. Just, hold me."
