Chapter 74

SAMMIE POV:

2 weeks later.

We've just had Christmas and New Years Eve. We spent the new years eve at home with lots of friends. Marissa was there as well, with a dude. His name is Stephen. I think they're dating but Marissa won't tell. I guess we're finding out today because we're going to Marissa's.

About Kira, from the treatment centre, I've been talking to Michelle and some other people out there and they are just really concerned but won't do anything about it because there's no proof, which I think is just terribly bad. I'm visiting Kira this week though, to see how she's doing.

"Earth to Sammie." Demi snapped her fingers in my face which got me out of my thoughts. "Sorry hey." I chuckled. "Hey baby. I wanted to know if you're ready to go?" She asked. "Yeah, let's go. Don't forget her present." I said and got up. I took Batman with me and walked to the car.

"What's on your mind?" Demi asked. "Just tired." I said and took my phone.

From Madison:
"Could you buy me a pack of cigarettes? I'll pay you back. Thanks xx." 

"Demi can we go to the supermarket first?" I asked. "Sure. Why?" She asked. "I have to buy cigarettes for my friend, he just texted me." I gave her a weak smile. "For who?" She asked. "Harry." I said.

She drove off into the direction of the supermarket and we arrived within 3 minutes. I bought two packs of cigarettes and a cute red heart which was filled with chocolate for Demi.

"I got you something as well." I said as I stepped back into the car. "What is it?" She asked. "There you go." I gave her the heart and took a picture of her reaction, which was too cute. She couldn't stop smiling.

"Thank you babygirl." She smiled and kissed me. "You're just too cute." I smiled.

It only took 5 minutes to drive to Marissa's and once we arrived there there was a black car we both had never seen before.

We walked inside and saw Marissa with a man blouse on, her hair in a bun and a jogging pants. Just about a second later we saw a shirtless dude with a sixpack and he was damn hot.

At first I didn't recognize him, but then I realized it's Stephen.

"Hey mom, hey Stephen." I chuckled, so did Demi. "What are you two doing here?" She looked embarrassed and her face turned red. "Visiting you." Demi said which caused me to laugh.

"So how was the sex?" I asked as I sat down on the couch. "Sammie." Marissa gave me one of her stern faces which caused me to laugh even harder.

"This is hilarious." Demi said. "True." I added.

"Anyways. Would you guys like something to drink and act like this never happened?" Marissa asked, still embarrassed. "Sure mom." I chuckled an she grabbed me a bottle of water and Demi coke, she knows us, just the usual.

"Where's Mads?" I asked after a while. "She's in her room." Stephen said. "Ew you guys. I'm gonna check on her if she's still alive after all that moaning." I said and walked upstairs.

"Hey baby." I said as I walked in. "Hey you." She smiled and got up to give me a hug. "So, you're still alive?" I chuckled. "Yeah, sadly. I think I'm scared for life now." She laughed.

"Here, I got you your cigarettes, but this is the last time. Promise me you'll try your hardest to stop?" I asked her, more likely told her.

"I'll try." She said and took the cigarettes. "Promise me." I said sternly. "I promise." She gave me a weak smile and put the cigarettes under her bed. Damn Madison that's the dumbest place to keep a secret.

"Anyways, how have you been?" I asked. "Pretty good, what about you?" She smiled. "You know I can see through your fake smiles so what's wrong?" I asked her.

"My boyfriend broke up with me." She looked down. "Aw baby how come? What happened?" I asked and sat down right beside her. "He's moving out to Europe and he wants to make a new start there." She mumbled.

"Have you guys thought about long distance relationship?" I asked after a silence. "Yeah, but we're both not in for that. I guess this is just for the better." She weakly smiled.

"Well just know that you'll find someone sweetheart. Just wait for him. I'm sure there'll be many, PLENTY of guys waiting in line for such a gorgeous young lady like you." I smiled and put her hair in a braid.

"Should we ask Lauren and Dinah to come over so we can have a pool party?" Madison asked after a while. "I don't swim." I casually said. "Oh come on Sam, it's gonna be fun." She said.

"I really don't want it Madison." I said. "Fine, then I'll just have a pool party with them." She said.

I got up and walked downstairs with tearing eyes. I'm actually pretty much a fuck up because I can't even have a pool party with my friends.

"What's wrong baby?" Marissa asked as she saw me. "Nothing." I said and grabbed a glass of water.

"I know you're lying." She said. "I don't want to talk about it right now." I said and let myself fall onto the couch.

"Where's Demi?" I asked. "Walking with Batman." Marissa gave me a weak smile.

"Dinah and Lauren are coming over in 5." Madison said as she walked into the kitchen. "That's cool." Marissa smiled.

"Where did Stephan go?" Madison asked. "It's Stephen baby, and he left about 10 minutes ago to go to his work." Marissa smiled.

"You really love him, don't you?" I looked at her. "I do." She smiled. "Then I'm really happy for you." I hugged her really tight. "But if he hurts you he'll get to meet me." I said dead serious.

"Thank you Sam." She smiled and gave me a kiss on my forehead, then the bell rang.

"Dinah!" I squealed and ran upto her. It's just something we always do.

"Do y'all want anything to drink?" I asked but they shook her head. "Well Mads, lead your guests." I chuckled and walked away.

"Aren't you coming with us?" Dinah asked. "No, I don't like swimming." I lied. I left her with a confusing mindset and walked away.

I've been watching series for about an hour when Demi comes home again.

"Hey babe." I smiled so she walked up to me to kiss me. "Hey beautiful." She said.

"Sorry for interrupting but Sam could you come with me for a second?" Dinah asked so we walked to the empty living room.

"What's the real reason you don't want to join us?" She asked. "I just don't like swimming." I said. "You know you don't even have to swim at pool parties, you can just party." She said. "I don't like it." I said.

"Tell me the truth." She said. "No."

"Tell. Me. The. Truth." Dinah said really sternly which kinda scared me.

"No."

"Now Sammie."

"I cut."
