"Sammie Callahan." I looked up and saw Marissa with her arms crossed. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" She asked or more likely yelled.

"Just smoking." I said since I can't save myself out of this. "Just smoking?! You know how bad it is for your voice and health and you know that I don't accept this." She madly said. "Got anything to say?" She asked.

"Please don't tell anyone." I said. "So first you expect me to accept this and now to keep quiet about this?" She asked and I just nodded. "You're really, really wrong then. First of all I don't accept this and I won't accept this. Second of all does Demi know? And last but not least, are you addicted?" She asked, still mad.

"Demi doesn't know and I'm not addicted, it's just when I feel stressed." I said. "Are you the reason Madison started smoking?" She asked dead serious.

"What the fuck mom no why would I ever do that." I stood up and walked away.

"Hey you okay?" Demi asked once I was inside. "Yeah, I'm fine." I shrugged it off and walked around the venue to check it out.

Not much later Marissa walked in and I'm pretty sure everyone could feel the tension between us.

"Isn't the right screen supposed to be filled up with stars?" I asked Demi. "Yeah it is." She groaned and wrote it down.

There are a lot of things not ready yet for tomorrow and it's really frustrating.

"Ems what do you think? Do we have everything?" I asked Emma. "I think so, it's only the merchandise I can't find anywhere. Just wanted to buy myself a shirt with your face on it." She said and we all started laughing. "Thanks Emma." I chuckled.

"Let's head back guys, they'll finish up." Marissa yelled through the venue so everyone could hear it.

We got in the car with everyone and everyone was talking and being happy except for Marissa and me which was why we got some looks from Demi but she shrugged it off I guess, for now.

"See you tomorrow!" Demi and I both said to everyone and then walked over to our room. We actually wanted to go out for food tonight but since it's been a long day and no one was really feeling like it we're just staying home, or well, at the hotel.

"What's going on between you and Marissa?" She suddenly asked. "Nothing." I said. "Tell me."

"Just an argument. I don't really feel like talking about it right now." I said and got a soft smile in return. "It's alright babe just tell me if you want to get it off your chest." She said and gave me a kiss on the head.

I wish I could tell her but she'd be disappointed and mad at me for first of all lying to her and second, she hates it.

"Sam can I talk to you?" Marissa asked as she walked in. "Sure." I said. "Alone?" She asked and I nodded and went outside our room with her.

"I'm sorry for overreacting but I hope you understand that as your mother and friend I just want the best for you and I want you to live a healthy and happy life. Smoking could ruin many things for you and your career and I don't want that to happen." She said.

"I get you mom and all of this wasn't my reason to storm off on you. The reason was you accusing me of the reason why Madison started. That's just a really wrong thing to say." I said and she nodded.

"I'm really sorry for saying that. I was just really frustrated and mad at you and honestly I still am."

"Then why are you apologizing?" I asked her. "Because I care about you and I don't want to fight with you. I want you to stop smoking, Sam." She sighed. "Well I don't want to stop, Marissa. And neither do I want to stay here listening to you telling me to stop doing the only thing that keeps me calm when I'm stressed out." I groaned and walked back inside.

"What was that about?" Demi asked. "Nothing." I sighed and laid down with my head under my pillow in frustration. "Alright then I'll just ask your mother." She said and walked away.

I hate it when she uses the terms like 'your mother'. It's just annoying because Marissa is also her best friend and they share everything together, absolutely everything and now Demi gets to know this too and it just annoys me because I don't want her to know.

It's not like it's such a big deal. It's just for stress and that's pretty much it but some people don't seem to get that.

Anyways, let's not be dicks about it.

I could feel myself drifting off into a really good power nap untill I heard the door open. I decided to just act like I'm asleep, hoping it'll work out.

"So Marissa won't tell me what it is about but you're being such a naïve bitch to her Sam while she's just trying to help you and it's really unf-" She said untill she saw I'm 'asleep'.

"Sleepwell princess." She then softly whispered and kissed my forehead. Not much later I fell asleep.

The next day

"Goodmorning." I smiled as Demi opened her eyes whilst I was changing. "Well this is a good view to wake up to." She said which made me laugh. "Shut up dirty ass." I chuckled.

"You ready for today?" She asked. "Yeah I'm really excited I just hope the venue is ready. How about you? Are you nervous?" I smiled.

"Just a little bit but it'll go away once I'm on stage." She said. "Just like every other night." I added and she laughed and then nodded. "Yep, like every other night."

I put on some leggings and a sports bra since it's like really, really warm outside. Demi did the same.

I washed my face and went for a poop and then Demi and I walked downstairs to get some breakfast.

I took yoghurt with banana and Demi took yoghurt with strawberries and a croissant.

"Morning." We said to the others as we sat down on the big table.

"Be nice." Demi said as she saw me looking at Marissa. I just focused on my yoghurt and let everyone else talk.

"What's going on with you?" Dinah suddenly asked.

"Nothing, why?" I asked her.

"Is that a real question? You're a singer and singers shouldn't be putting their voices in danger. You know exactly what I'm talking about and besides that, you're being a naïve asshole to Marissa whilst she's doing everything she can to help you and make you happy."
