"Y/n, could you please pass me the-"

"Monkey wrench." You smiled, handing Donnie the tool. Donnie smiled back and began to mess with a screw on the Shell Raiser when April entered.

"Hey guys! What's up?" She chirped. Donnie waved from under the vehicle, focused on his task.

"Just tinkering." You replied when you hit your knee on the corner of the desk.
"OH MY MOTHER OF A FATHER THAT FLIPPING HURTS!" you shrieked, hopping on one foot as you held your knee. Before April could move, Donnie rolled out from under the Shell Raiser and was fussing over you.

"Flower! What happened? You need to be more careful, slow down. Where does it hurt? There? Ok.. This should make it feel better." Donnie scolded, cooed, fussed and treated you in under ten seconds flat. You sniffed as Donnie handed you a tissue and dried your cheeks.

"There. All better?" He smiles. You nod, blushing a tiny bit, only for April to see.

"I'm gonna go grab some water." You smiled before leaving to cool your blush and nerves.

April smirked as she walked up to Donnie, who was cleaning his desk.
"So..."

"Don't start-"

"Too late! When I came in, you didn't even roll out to look at me, but when Y/n hurt herself, you were at her side before I could blink! You've got it bad, Don." April grinned, leaning on the desk. Donatello signed.

"I know.. Its worse than when I had a crush on y-y-Yancy. Ye-yeah, a girl named Yancy Crew." Donnie corrected himself as a blush spread across his face.

"I know you liked me." April chuckled. "At first I wasn't sure, but then you became more obvious."

"And I scared you off." Donnie frowned. "I won't make that mistake again." He stated as he got the blow torch and began to meld.

"You didn't scare me Donnie," April sighed. "I just... I didn't feel the same way."

"This is turning into a really cheesy daytime show." Donnie chuckles. "That's alright April. I understand. Have fun on your date tonight."

April nodded until she realized something.
"I didn't tell you that I had a date," she spoke with surprise.

"Well, its kinda obvious," Donnie explained. "Your hair is curled, you're wearing perfume, and you seem a bit nervous. Is it Casey?"

April nodded, smiling.
"He's taking me out to dinner, and he's gonna wear a suit! I laughed when he told me that.." She sighed happily, patting Donnie's shoulder. "Well, good luck Donnie. This time, just be yourself."

Then she spun on her heel and skipped out, passing you and sending one of her 'I know something that will change your life' grins before leaving. You sighed and walked over to Donnie.

"I got you a soda, if you want it. I wasn't sure which kind so I guessed." You grinned sheepishly. Donnie stopped melding to turn and look to you, holding a glass of water and a grape soda.

"Ooh! That's my favorite!" He cheered, standing and taking it gratefully. "Thanks Flower. How's your knee?"

"I'll live." You smiled, sitting on he desk. "Thanks for treating it, Dr. Don."

Donnie laughed.
"You're welcome, patient Y/n." He smiled. You sighed and drank your water, feeling Donnie's eyes on you. His hands made discrete circles in the air, and you felt something on your head. You slowly reached up to feel it, and found that a flower crown had grown on your head. You grinned and looked for a mirror when Donnie held one up.

"You look beautiful, as always." Donnie smiled as you gasped. The flower crown had purple and f/c flowers woven in, and their were other types of flowers, daisies and such, scattered throughout your hair.

"Wow.. its beautiful, Donnie."

He smiled, creating a f/c rose for you.
"A beautiful gift for a beautiful girl."
The clock suddenly struck twelve, signaling the start of patrol, and your bedtime.

"Goodnight, Y/n. Sweetest dreams." Donnie wished, and you nodded in return.

Then you both stood, Donnie planting a small kiss to your forehead before he left to his room to gear up. You blushed and left for yours, the sweet smell of flowers following you. In your room, you carefully took off the crown and flower petals in your hair, their smell filling your room. With a smile, you opened your music box and listened to its tune, humming along to it.

"Goodnight, Donnie." You sighed happily.

Hello! How is everyone?? I'm doing alright, happy to be back. I hope this chapter is too your liking! See ya in the next one, my lovelies!
