Michelangelo stumbles back when the bright light appears, shielding his eyes with both hands. The light slowly fades after Leo is taken, and Mikey looks around frantically for his oldest brother. Instead, he sees Hikari standing a few feet away, staring at him with golden eyes. He blinks a few times before grinning at her and trapping her in a tight, loving hug.
"Sunshine, you're here!" He chirps happily. "Do you know where my brothers went?" He asks innocently while nuzzling her neck. He knows she won't accept the hug, but he figures just a few seconds won't hurt. He missed giving you hugs.
Hikari blushes and pushes him away, her eyes glowing brighter to try and intimidate him. Mikey simply smiles happily at her, hiding how sad he is. How he hates Shredder for hurting his Sunshine so much, and how badly he wants to hold her, hug her and never let go.
"No, I do not." She answers truthfully, pulling Mikey out of his thoughts. "If my teammates did their jobs correctly, your brothers are in chains Shredders lair as we speak, as you soon will be." She speaks with no emotion, while metally kicking herself for doing what she's doing.
"Well if my brothers are as awesome as I know they are, your teammates are probably back to normal in the Lair right now," Mikey grins. "As I hope you will be."
"Michel -"
"Mikey.." he mumbles.
"- M-Michelangelo, just make this easier for the both of us and surrender now." Hikari demands, her eyes pleading. She knows she won't enjoy kicking his shell one bit, and that him just giving up is a long shot.
"I can't, Y/n. You know I can't.." Mikey frowns. "Please, just come with me to the Lair. I know you must hate it at Shredders lair. No one will hurt you if your with me, I promise." Mikey whispers while holding her hands against his plastron, staring at her with the saddest puppy eyes in the history of puppy eyes.
"I-I can't.." Hikari shakes her head, pulling her hands away, only for Mikey to hold her hands tighter and look deep into her eyes. She stares back, hating how adorable and innocent he seems. It would be so easy to fall in love with him all over again, to rest in his arms and forget about everything else. To foolishly believe he would always be there to protect her. But she already fell for that lie once, and isn't planning on falling for it again.
"Michelangelo, stop.." Hikari whispers sadly, also hating the task she has been entrusted with.
"Please, Hikari.. please, don't take my sunshine away.." Mikey whimpers with pleading eyes, holding her hands tighter. "I don't care if you leave after Donnie gets you back to normal. Heck, I probably would do the same thing. But knowing you're forced to go back there.. that Shredder keeps doing stuff to you after every failed attempt at capturing us.. I-I can't sleep at night.."
Hikari forces herself not to cry as she pulls her hands away. "I'm not your Y/n, Mikey. I'm sorry.. there's no hope for me.. I wish there was another way.." she mumbles as her hands glow and she gets in a fighting stance. Mikey gulps as he gets out his nunchucks and gets in his own fighting stance.
"I do too.." he whispers his reply with a sad look. Hikari sighs before attacking reluctantly, sad tears leaking from both their eyes.
Soo... I was thinking about Master Splinter and what happened.. and I made this little edit..
