"Y/n!" Mikey chirped, knocking on your door. "Time for the Late Night Movie Marathon!"

Answered with silence, Mikey slowly opened your door, growing a bit concerned.

"Y/n?" He called you again, quieter and more timid than the first time. As the light from outside spilled into your room, Mikey saw your bed made and you nowhere to be seen. Without a second thought, Mikey ran out and flew to topside. In his wind form, he flew around as he looked for you. His powers grew as did his worry, shaking the trees around him and sending strong winds in every direction.

"Where could she be?? Who could've taken her??" Mikey spoke out loud, biting his lip as his hands began to shake. Just before he flew off again, his T-phone rang. He answered, taking a deep breath to calm himself, although it didn't work very well.

"H-hey, this is MC Mikey." He said into the speaker.

"M-Mikey? Th-this is Y/n." Your voice responded, sending a wave of relief over Mikey.

"Y/n! Where are you?? I was so worried, I-I thought--"

"Listen Mikey, I'm sorry for scaring you b-but.. I-I need your help!" You squeaked in the end, and Mikey heard wind from your end.

"O-oh, ok! Where are you, Sunshine?" He questioned frantically, flying up and ready to go.

"A-at the park, where that b-big oak tr-tree is."

Immediately after you replied, Mikey sped off, arriving only moments later.

"Y/n?? Y/n?? Where at you, sunshine?!" He called frantically, looking everywhere.
"U-up here!" You called from above, causing Mikey's head to whip upward and spot you clinging to the shaking tree. The wind made the leave stir and the branches creak and groan. Mikey flew up to you and swept you up, holding you tight in his arms.

"Y/n! I was so worried! I thought someone took you! What happened, Sunshine? How'd you get up there? I thought you were afraid of heights." Mikey hugged you tight as he lowered to the ground, squeezing the breath out of you.

"I-I am.. I-I was trying to cure m-myself.." You muttered with shame, your eyes gluing to the ground as your fingers tangled together.

"Why?" Mikey asked innocently. You smiled softly at how naïve he sounded, although you knew he knew more than he let on.

"Because.. I uh.. I wanted to fly with you.." You admitted quietly, rocking on your heels. Mikey expressed shock before grinning and hugging you.

"Aww my Sunshine, you could've asked." He smiles as you hug back, letting out a shaky, relieved sigh.

"I-I'm sorry Mikey." You muttered, hiding your face in his shoulder.
Then, you feel yourself being raised up, and look down to see you and Mikey a few inches off the ground.

"How's this?" He asked.

"Perfect." You smiled. You tried not to notice how close you and Mikey were, by he did, and he didn't bother hiding it.

As the trees shook and the breeze drifted through, Mikey couldn't help but smile as your h/c hair stirred in the wind, twirling and dancing beautifully. The wind sang a soft song as you both 'hovered', one that only Mikey could hear because he was paying attention.
His baby blue eyes darted all over your face, taking in every detail. How your cheeks flushed to a perfect shade of scarlet when the wind picked up, how you chewed on your lip to try and hide your nervousness, how your eyes stayed glued to the ground, refusing to look up at him. How your arms wrapped around his neck, and his linked around your waist, seeming strangely comfortable for you both.
Finally, Mikey had enough, lifting your chin for you to look at him. You knew what was happening, and you were trying to delay it for as long as possible.

"Y/n, I-I know you've noticed how.. weird I've been acting lately.." He started, close to loosing his ability to speak. He was beginning to rethink this. Did he really want to destroy the friendship you had?

-If I don't tell her, I could destroy myself..- Mikey thought. -I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna tell her..-

Mikey took a deep breath, preparing for what he was about to say.
"This stuff is new to me, I'm not gonna lie. But.. I-I um.. I-I love y-yo-you, Y/n. Not just as a-a adorable little girl, or as an amazing friend. I love you like.. like I would never fly again, if it meant you'd be happy."
Mikey face paled as he finally admitted it, and you felt a strange sense of calm. He was unsure too, you both were in new lands.

"I-I know.." you whispered as Mikey stopped hovering, allowing your feet to meet the firm ground once again. Mikey's eyes widened in surprise as you continued.
"I knew for a while now.. but I made myself believe it was all in my head. And Mikey," you took a step forward to hug him with all your might. "It would break my heart if you stopped flying."

With a heavy, relieved sigh, Mikey hugged you back, burying his face in your hair. You both felt the wind pick up as you were lifted up in the air. The wind sang a beautiful song for you both, and Michelangelo parted just enough to smile and kiss you on the forehead.

"Let's go home now."

But as you lowered to the ground and walked off, a dark, tall figure watched you in the shadows. Their hands reached in their pockets to pull out a phone, and they dialed a number at a painfully slow speed.

"Master Shredder, we have our victims." The low voice of a man spoke into the phone, showing an evil, gleaming, sharp toothed smile.
