Knuckles tapped gently on my bedroom door. "Come in!" I responded accordingly. The door creaked when the door opened. "Hey," I said turning around to see Josh.
"Hi, gorgeous," he said smoothly. "You ummm--you look amazing. How come I don't remember picking out this dress?" he stuttered slightly as he spoke.

"That's because this dress right here is my secret weapon. I've been saving it for a special night. What better night than tonight, huh?" I fiddled with the zipper on the back of my dress and dropped my arms in defeat. "Ughh...Can you help me zip up this dress?" I sighed.
"Hmm, let me see what I can do,"Josh smirked.
I lifted my hair up and turned back around. His hands were cold against my back, but I couldn't help but get lost in the moment.
"Maybe you'll be able to zip up you're own dress when you're three years old and an actual adult," he teased and booped a finger on my nose.
I laughed at his joke but cringed a little at the same time. I really didn't want to be seen as the girl three years younger than him, especially after what just happened between us.
"You ready to go? They are probably starting to wonder where we are," he finally said.
"I'm ready to go," I tousled my hair to add a little volume. "But you, not so much." I wrinkled my nose.
"What do you mean? I look adorable," he frowned.
"Maybe so, but your shirt is all discombobulated, and you look like you just rolled out of bed."
A smirk replaced the frown that was on his face. "Well, I mean we did just roll out bed not too long ago."
"Ha Ha," I fixed his collar and tugged on the hem of his shirt. I took a step back to look at him and then ran my fingers through his hair. "There...perfect!"
"Now are we ready to go." He halfway kneeled and bowed his head. Then, he looked up at me with his charming, boyish grin and held out his hand for my to take. "Shall we go my princess."
"Yes, my Prince Charming...or shall I say Prince Boing," I giggled taking his hand.
