It's About Time (GMW - Joshaya)

Chapter 14

Maya's POV

"J-Josh, sorry I didn't know you were home," I muttered.

Holy. Fucking. Jesus. 

I can't move. Just looking at Josh has paralyzed me. I'm just standing there analyzing his body. 

I didn't really pay that much attention the other night as to how much Joshua Matthews has grown up. He is more chiseled than he was 3 years ago and sun-kissed might I add. 

I realize that I'm still just standing there in awe when I think he is about to say something to break the silence. He walks a little closer to mean and opens his mouth as to speak, but then shuts it. And then, again, he begins to part his lips slightly. Except this time right when I think he is about to say something.  He closes to gap between us, and gently grabs my waist to ensure that our bodies are completed collided. I tangled my fingers through his wet, wavy hair. And right then, he starts kissing me and without even thinking I'm kissing him back. Slow and soft at first. Then, as he backs me up to the wall, it built up to passionate and forceful. Like all of this built up feelings we had were being released, like he was trying to prove a point to me. 

My legs are wrapping tight around his waist as he lifts me up. His hand is grasping tightly on to my upper thigh and he carries me over to the bed. We didn't even take one second to breathe. It was as if he was my oxygen supply. He cradled me on to the bed as he hovered above me kissing me. 

He starts to lift my shirt up as Riley calls to me, "Maya, I found my phone. Did you find your dress? Hurry we are gonna be late." 

I look at him hopelessly, and then close my eyes and take a deep breath. He lets his head drop to defeat as he flips over next to me.

"Uhh, yea Riles. I just found it. It was underneath some dirty clothes," I manage to say trying not to sound out of breath. 

Josh just laid there on the bed as I picked up my dress, straightened myself out, and left the room.
