A story mostly focused on Joshaya but will contain hints of Corpanga, Rucas, Smarckle, etc. It all starts in the days leading up to the 25th Corpanga wedding anniversary. It takes place some years in the future (Riley, Maya, Farkle, Smackle, and Zay...
My phone starts to play the dreadful alarm indicating that its time to get up for my tux fitting. This ringtone is awful. I reach for my phone of the nightstand quickly so that I don't wake up Maya with the alarm.
But then I realize, she's not in bed anymore. My heart sinks at this fact. Maybe last night was a mistake. What am I saying?! Of course it wasn't a mistake, but what was I thinking that maybe she had forgiven me for that night 3 years ago.
Finally, I gather up enough energy to get out of bed and begin my day which was starting out as a nightmare.
I check the weather app on my phone to see that it was a cold fall day. Even better. I thought to myself. I hate the cold. So I searched through my bag to find something comfy and warm, yet not too bummy. I grabbed a pair of jeans, my gray sweater, a beanie, and I changed. Then, I threw on a pair of warm socks and vans to match my outfit.

I go into the kitchen and grab myself a bowl, a spoon, some cereal, and the gallon of milk from the fridge. I sit down and pour myself a bowl and let out a sigh of frustration from this morning. And I begin to eat breakfast and check my instagram.
Maya's POV
"Maya! Wake up. What happened last night?" Riley giggled dazed and confused from last night's festivities.
"5 more minutes, Mom. I'm tired," I groaned, rolling over and covering my face from the sunlight streaming in with the white and purple comforter.
"Maya..." Riley pressed.
"Fine. Good morning sunshine," my voice is so groggy I almost don't recognize it. My head is pounding. I slowly sit up and my empty stomach growls.
"Well someone is hungry," Riley laughed again.
"Shhhh! You're making my head hurt worse," I said with a slight smile.
"Lets go. I'll grab some Advil and we can sit down and eat while we recap last night," Riley suggested.
I willingly get up and follow Riley, but before we make it out of the room she stops at a dead halt.
"Wait a second," she's smiling so hard right now that she could honestly pull a mouth muscle if that is possible. She's looking at me now. "Are those my Uncle Josh's clothes?"
"Long story. I'll explain later."
That was all I could think the say.
We round the corner of the hallway and hop down the couple of steps into the kitchen. Of course Josh is in the kitchen. His eyes are still kind of sleepy and his bed head is peeking out of his beanie. He looks up from his bowl of cereal and shoots us both a smile.
"Good morning Smiley Riley. Good morning Maya," he takes another spoonful of his cereal.
"Hey Uncle Josh! Someone's looking a little tired this morning, long night?"
I just shoot her a look from this comment.
Riley walked over to Josh and gave her uncle a hug. This was her first time seeing him since he got to town.
I sat down at the table next to Josh while Riley grabbed us two spoons and two bowls for cereal and sits across the table from me. As soon as I sat down, I realized this was a mistake sitting next to him. But if I get up and move seats it would make a big scene, so I opt to suffer through this long breakfast. We are all silently crunching down on Cookie Crisp cereal aka the best cereal ever.
Suddenly, I feel a hand reach for my hand underneath the table. Josh hand brushes along my inner thigh as he does this. I get this tingly feeling and then I instinctively pull away from his grasp.
I must've jumped a little because Riley gives me a strange look. I ignore it and she continues to eat her cereal.
And just then, I am saved yet again but by Cory.
"My brother!" he exclaimed.
"My brother!" Josh responded back to their usual bit.
"My brother!" another voice comes from the intercom.
"My brother!" Cory and Josh yell back to the voice in the speaker.
"Come on up Eric," Cory said, buzzing him into the building.
A minute later, the door swings open and the iconic Eric walks in.
"Sup niche, sup Moesha? Where is Auggs?" Eric continues.
Just as if on cue, Auggie walks into the room. And suddenly, everyone of the guys are starting to pack into the room. Cory. Josh. Eric. Auggie. Alan. Shawn. Jack. Jesse (Morgan's husband).
"Alright girls, we are gonna head out. We will see you around. Lock up the door before you go," Cory said to us.
I watched as Josh slipped on his black leather jacket and I felt my eyes drift to meet his eyes. I looked away instantly, resisting whatever feelings were creeping back up.
Josh's POV
She is totally checking me out. I'm smiling at this point because I realize she's still wearing my clothes and looking absolutely adorable in them I might add. But then again, I'm honestly so confused. She left me to wake up alone and then snatched her hand back when I grabbed it. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it all.
"Right Josh? Josh?" Shawn said snapping me out of my thoughts.
