The alarm on my phone rang loud and annoyingly I might add. The sun's bright morning rays streamed in through the window reflecting painfully right into my eyes. I pressed the snooze button on my phone and covered my head with my blanket.
Just as I was slipping back into my sleep, the alarm went off again, signaling my second warning to get out of bed.
"Ughhh," I groaned out loud.
It was time to get up and get going. I wanted to get an early start on the cake for two reasons. One being that I wanted to give myself extra time in case I messed up on anything. The other being that I didn't wanna be up late working on the cake because tomorrow was the wedding and that meant an early day and late night.
But instead of getting out of bed right away, I grabbed my phone to check my social media.
First, I checked Facebook. I scrolled through the newsfeed a few cute and funny videos/pictures.
There was one post of a golden retriever and her liter which had been born a few days ago here in New York. I was a sucker for puppies. I never got to have one as a kid but I always wanted one. I saved a post with instructions on how to make a chocolate chip cookie pie with Oreos, Reeses, marshmallow, graham crackers, and ice cream. I shared another post about tacos. I stifled a laugh out loud when I saw it because it perfectly described my relationship with tacos. It read: "Don't tell me you miss me. Tell me you're outside with tacos. It's all about actions, guys." I shared another silly video about when Disney songs come on in the car. The last post I shared was about the glo up of Dylan and Cole Sprouse from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. I couldn't resist. I always had such a crush on them when I was little, but somehow they had gotten even more attractive over the years.
Before I could even browse any of my other social media accounts, I saw that I had a Snapchat notification.

I clicked on the notification so that it opened up the app. I tapped his name to open up his snap.
