A story mostly focused on Joshaya but will contain hints of Corpanga, Rucas, Smarckle, etc. It all starts in the days leading up to the 25th Corpanga wedding anniversary. It takes place some years in the future (Riley, Maya, Farkle, Smackle, and Zay...
I was running out of time before the rehearsal. It was already 3:47 and Riley and I had to leave in 13 min. the absolute latest.
I did, however, manage to pick up my dress for the wedding and get ready pretty fast. All I had to do was get dressed and finish my makeup.
I slipped on the dress I had in my closet that I was wearing tonight. It was the same dress that I wore to my little cousin's communion last year.

Maya's dress
I tried my best to zip up my dress without any help, but it was no use. I was so immensely frustrated from all of the wedding stress, Josh stress, job stress, time management stress, etc. The worst part is that today isn't even the rehearsal for my wedding...I shouldn't be the one freaking out.
I sighed, letting my hands smack down to my sides.
"Riles," I groaned loud enough so that she could hear through the wall. "Can you please help me zip this up?" I said admitting my defeat.
She came in my room instantaneously and I faced my back to her.
"Surely," she said all chipper, but muffled because of the bobby pin she gripped tightly between her upper and lower teeth.
She finished zipping up my dress, and I turned back around. She took the bobby pin out from her mouth and held it in her hand.
"Thanks! You look gorgeous by the way," I said sincerely, my mood lightening. "You look like a little fashionista."

Riley's Dress.
"Oh hush," she said modestly
"Seriously. This is straight up something that Serena would wear in Gossip Girl," I continued.
"Thanks," she shyly accepted my compliment. "You look like quite the stunner yourself. Uncle Josh might not be able to resist you anymore."
"Gee thanks," I said jokingly.
"I didn't mean that you aren't always irresistible. You know what I meant," she struggled to find her words. " And can you help me put this bobby pin in my hair?"
I took the bobby pin from her hand, she turned around so that her back faced me, and I began to fiddle the bobby pin into her long cocoa-colored locks.
"I'm only kidding. Besides, that was a pipe dream anyways. It's in the past. And he lives in Florida. It wouldn't even be practical."
I knew the last part was a lie, but I kinda wanted to see her reaction a little. I kind of needed to hear it face to face for myself. Or well, in this case. Face to back. But she didn't reveal anything to me. She didn't tell me that he was moving to New York. Instead she squirmed a little and then turned back around to face me.
"Right. Yea, that makes sense," she bit her lip nervously.
I could tell she hated lying to me, but I could tell that she also respected Josh's secret.
She plopped down onto her bed and waited for me to finish putting on my makeup. The silence between us was awkward, but neither one of us said anything. This was what I was afraid of. I feel it already happening. The secrets, the lies, the growing up. I didn't wanna grow apart from Riley, but she's already trying to leave me to move in with Lucas. It just felt like the beginning of the end.
We both took one quick look in the mirror to check ourselves out before we left.

"Damn we look good," I laughed.
"I second that! You ready?" she asked me.
The two of us played with our hair in the mirror quickly before walking out the door and heading to the church.
