"Well I see you listened to my advice and cleaned up that shaggy hair of yours," I smirked, sneaking up behind Josh. He jumped slightly when he heard my voice. "Did I scare you?" I was laughing uncontrollably now.

"Ha-ha!" he fake laughed, he comment rich with sarcasm. He grabbed my hand and placed it on his chest. "You feel that."

I did feel it. It was his rapid heartbeat pounding on his chest. He held my hand there on his chest for a while as he continued to speak.

"Now, I know I told you the story about when I was born. I had that respiratory infection because I was born premature and all that. But did you forget the fact that I had a heart problem too. You're killing me Hart," he finally released my hand and let it fall to my side.

"That was my plan all along," I laughed evilly.

"Oh. I get it! You're trying to speed up the long game!" he pointed at me accusingly.

"What?! No!" I said panickedly.

"Yea, because if you kill me. My long game aka life is shorter. Therefore, we would be together sooner. I got you all figured out my Little Ferret. And while I must say that that was a genially devious plan, you still don't have me beat," he smiled smugly.

"Now while that is a good theory, Boing," I said, regaining my composure. "I am afraid there is one big plot hole there."

"What's that?" he tiled his head down towards me, licking his lips.

"I never said I was still playing the long game," I raised my eyebrows at him and watched him squirm in response.

Before he could say anymore, the organ began to play music that cued the beginning of the ceremony.

Everyone's voices hushed, people took their seats, and the bridal party assumed their order to walk down the aisle.

Josh and I linked arms and waited for our turn to walk down the aisle. Before we stepped up toward the doors that separated the main part of the church from the back, I looked up and smiled at Josh.
