*three days later*

Annie's POV

Our foster mom keeps forgetting to sign us up for gym, and it's starting to get annoying. Also, Eleanor keeps giving me dirty looks, and Hayley and I can't figure out why.

(Two weeks later...)

Audrey still hasn't signed us up for gym. Luckily, she is nice and we have good meals. If Hayley and I didn't have electronics though, we would get bored. Our foster home isn't even close to a city or mall! There's only a grocery store, clothing stores, schools, and recreation center. So basically, we live in a small town.

...

"Girls! Time for school!" Audrey calls.

Ugh. I got up and got dressed. I put on a light blue shirt with black leggings and adidas.

I decided to Dutch braid my hair. After it was done, I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and waited for Hayley to finish getting ready. We headed downstairs together. We had toast and strawberries for breakfast, then we grabbed our bags and headed for the bus stop.

I'm so happy! I only have to write a short biography about a U.S. president for homework. Audrey said yesterday that if we don't have too much homework, she'll let us go to open gym while she signs us up for the competition team. Hayley has math, science, and spelling homework, so I did her math for her, getting an occasional problem wrong, and helped her with science. When we finished, we ran downstairs to tell Audrey that we were done.

"Okay, now go upstairs and put on your leos, and tell Eleanor too," She said.

"Okay!" Hayley responded.

We dashed upstairs and put our leos on. We only could take five leotards with us to our foster home, so I took my bratayley leo (new one), my team leo (not competition), my WoodWard leo, and two other ones, and three pairs of Nike pros. I put on my WoodWard leo and gray Nike pros. Hayley put on the bratayley leo (old one). I grabbed my grips and put on shoes. Ella had on a sparkly blue leo. We hopped in the car and went to the gym.

When we got to the gym, Audrey paid ten dollars for open gym. We went into the gym, and she stayed outside to sign Hayley and me up for team. In the gym, we stretched and then we went to bars. Ella wasn't very good. Her kips were messy and her flyway was so low that I thought she was going to hit her head. Next, we did floor. We decided to practice routines. Ella took the level 3 CD from the drawer and put it in the CD player. Hayley did her routine. Then Ella put the level 5 music in, and her routine was pretty sloppy. I plugged my phone into the player and put on my music. When I did my routine, it was one of the best I'd ever done! Ella looked very impressed. I quickly realized that everyone at open gym was watching me. I blushed and walked off the floor and over to beam. We worked on our leaps on beam, then we played on trampoline for fifteen minutes. After that, our time was up. We got our stuff and went out into the lobby.

"Ok girls, you're all signed up! Practice for Hayley starts on Wednesday, and practice for Annie starts tomorrow!" Audrey said.

After that, we got ice cream and went home.
