Annie's POV
It's the last day of the cruise and its raining. The cruise was really fun. Well, now it's time to pack up.
Mom doesn't feel well, I guess. She's been mopey, and she threw up this morning. Poor mom. It's probably because there's a thunderstorm and the ship ran out of ginger ale and green apples, which help with sea sickness.
A month later...
Mom and dad have been really happy since we got back. Dad's been staying over a lot, too. He's been making breakfast for us, and he's hung out more often. Anyway, mom and dad said that they have an important announcement for us, so I ran downstairs. I met Hayley on the couch, and mom and dad sat on the couch across from us.
"Okay girls. We have two big changes to our lives," Mom said.
"The first is. . .
That we are getting re-married!" Dad said.
"The second is that we are going to be foster parents!" Mom said.
Married? Foster kids?
