Sapphire's POV

We were walking for a pretty long time.

"Are we there yet?" I asked mommy.

"Saph, we've only been walking for two minutes. The beach is eight more minutes away," she responded.

Luca groaned. Abbie and I laughed.

We kept walking for forever until we reached a river. There was sand on the banks, I'm guessing that's the beach.

"Okay, we're here," Jayden said.

Everyone put down what they were holding, except daddy. He still held Abbie.

"Okay, what's the plan, exactly?" Ryan asked.

"We need to build shelter. How, exactly? I don't know," Annie said.

"We should have thought this through before leaving," Ryan groaned.

"I have an idea! What if—"

We heard a scream and footsteps.

We all turned our heads towards the noises.

We spotted a blonde girl with messy hair.

Daddy carefully put Abbie down before starting to walk over.

"Don't hurt me!" She exclaimed.

She dropped down crying.

"I'd recognize that voice from anywhere," mommy turned to auntie Hayley.

"JoJo?" Mommy called to her.

The girl looked confused. Then suddenly, she smiled.

"Annie!" She exclaimed, then started running towards my mom.

They hugged.

"Why are you out here?" Mommy asked.

"I don't know. I think something happened and I lost a lot of memory. Maybe I was taken?" JoJo said.

"Clearly you didn't forget about me," mommy said.

"Yeah. I remember people, but I don't remember when I met them or anything, or where I was. Can you tell me some things?" JoJo asked.

"Sure! You were on a show called Dance Moms when you were a kid, then—"

"Enough with the chit chat! We're losing daylight!" Abbie whined.

"Abbie, that's rude!" I said.

"Like I care," she rolled her eyes.

"Hey, do you want me to spank you? I know you're hurt, but you need an attitude check," Daddy raised his voice at her.

Abbie shut her mouth. I saw Luca trying not to laugh.

"So anyway, what's going on with you?" JoJo asked.

"Our flight crashed and we're the only survivors. We're trying to build shelter, but we don't know how," Jayden explained.

"Oh, I have a solution! I woke up with no memories in a cabin! It's only like a minute walk from here! It's not bugged and there's no cameras, I checked. Get your stuff, come on!" JoJo said.

We picked up our belongings again and followed JoJo to a cabin. It wasn't small, but it definitely wasn't large.

We walked inside and discovered it was completely empty. There was nothing inside except the floor, which happened to be carpeted, lucky us, the walls, and the ceiling.

We put our things in a corner, then took out blankets and pillows.

There were five blankets total, and they were really big, so almost everyone was covered. Daddy couldn't get under, so he just put on a ton of jackets.

We only had four pillows, one of which was a neck pillow. We gave Abbie a pillow for her leg, Georgia the neck pillow, Allie a pillow, and JoJo the last pillow, because who knows how long she's been sleeping uncomfortably.

"I'm hungry," Georgia said.

"I know, baby, but we're gonna wait until breakfast, okay?" Jayden told her.

"Jay, she hasn't had anything to eat since pretzels on the plane, no wonder she's hungry. Now that I think about it, I'm hungry as well. I slept through the plane snacks, meaning I haven't eaten since breakfast," Hayley said.

"I'm hungry too," I said.

"Me too," Luca said.

"Me three!" Abbie exclaimed.

Mommy sighed. "How much food do we have?"

Ryan took one of the food bags and opened it.

"This one is nearly all plane snacks. There's at least thirty packs of peanuts and pretzels," he said.

"What do you want, kids?" Daddy said.

"Pretzels!" We all said.

Ryan gave us packages of pretzels. We opened them and ate them pretty quickly. Mommy and daddy and the rest of the adults got peanuts.

After eating, mommy put the wrappers in the opposite corner of where we were sleeping. We got back under the blankets again, prayed that we'd be safe and found soon, then fell asleep.
