Allie's POV

I opened my eyes to see a room. Quinn was sitting in a chair near me on her laptop.

I looked in front of me and gasped.

Where'd this come from?!

"Quinn?" I asked.

"Allie!" She jumped up and hugged me.

"What's going on? And why do I look like I'm about to burst?!" I asked.

"You're eight and a half months pregnant," she smiled.

"When'd that happen? Was I in a coma?" I asked.

"Yeah. The baby's fine though. The doctors actually didn't know what happened to you. They thought that it might have been a lack of oxygen to the brain initially, but you didn't show any signs of it."

"Interesting."

"So, uhh, do you remember anything you said?" Quinn asked.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"The night of when you met Senica. I was in the kitchen working on a paper when I heard you start talking. I walked into the room and you were asleep. I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't wake up. You were talking out of your head, almost as if you were awake and not speaking out your dreams. You were discussing with yourself whether or not I like you and if you like me. That's also the night I figured out something was wrong with you and called 911," Quinn paused. "But is it true? Do you actually like me?"

I paused for a moment.

"Yes, I think. Do you like me?" I asked.

She smiled. "I was going to show you this when you woke up, and I haven't finished editing it yet. But go ahead and read it."

She handed me her laptop.

Dear Allie Jade Leblanc,

I remember the day we met in first grade.

You weren't anything like the other kids in our class. You always wore your hair in a cute swingy high ponytail and you had the brightest blue eyes that sparkled when you smiled. You had cute light freckles that dotted your cheeks. From the moment I first laid eyes on you, I knew you would be my best friend.

Middle school started. In sixth grade, we had three classes together: math, Spanish, and science. Those were all my worst classes, and they were all your best. You tutored me and made sure my grades stayed up. Without you, I would've failed those classes.

In seventh grade, we had no classes or lunches together, and I began to hang out with Raina and her crew. They took me in, and we slowly walked away from each other.

In eighth grade, Raina wanted to be friends with you as soon as she found out you made the cheer team. I knew she was using you, but I didn't know how to tell you. You eventually figured it out though. I knew you were smart enough to.

In high school, I realized that I liked girls, not boys. My therapist helped me realize I had a crush on you and a few other people. We started talking again and clicked in no time. We pulled each other through drama and when someone spread rumors about us dating because we spent all our time with each other.

In college, we both went to the University of Maryland. We were roommates and once we didn't have to live in dorms anymore, we got the apartment that we live in today.

Allie Jade Leblanc, you're the reason I wake up in the morning, the reason I'm still here. I was depressed our senior year of high school, and you pulled me out of the dark. I wouldn't be writing this, wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for you.

I love you.

I love you so, so much, Allie Jade Leblanc.

Love, Quinn Marie Jones.

The letter. I was in tears.

I reached over and hugged Quinn really tight.

We held onto each other until a doctor and a nurse came in. The nurse took my vitals while the doctor explained that I'd have to stay in the hospital for another night to make sure I was okay.

I called my parents, my sisters, and emailed my professors.

Annie and Hayden and Hayley and Ryan and Senica got here as soon as they could.

Hayley and Ryan has postponed their wedding so that I could be there. That was so sweet, they didn't have to wait for me.

Annie explained that they had set up the guest room in her house as a nursery for my baby in case I didn't wake up before my son was here. They were going to take care of him until I woke up.

After a ton of talking, Hayden left to go pick up the kids from school. Annie explained to me that the triplets had been super worried about me and came to visit all the time.

When they arrived, they all ran up and hugged me and we played some games. The kids had some questions, of course.

"Could you hear us telling you jokes and stories?" Abbie asked.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't," I said.

"Oh, that's okay. You couldn't help that," Sapphire said.

"I'm just glad you're awake now," Luca smiled.

"Me too!" The girls exclaimed.

Annie and Hayley asked me about baby names. I honestly have no clue what I'm going to name this kid.

Y'all can suggest some names if ya want
