Bye, I Guess... (Sequel and Third Book Included!)

Hayley's POV

It's a week later, and we can finally leave the hospital. Mom went to court yesterday, and she got partial custody! We get to spend the weekends with her! I'm really excited about that!

So anyway, we just got in the car with Sarah and we're going to her house. We had vlogged in the hospital with mommy, and when we posted it, the fans were overjoyed that we were reunited. Today is Friday, so we're going to her house tonight and tomorrow night.

Here's something else exciting: the doctor said my throat should be strong enough to swallow food in about six months! Just two days ago, he thought it would be a year, but I'm healing quickly!

Also, I don't have to eat the ugly brown liquid all the time, I can actually blend any food I want to a purée, and eat that! I just have to try and remember the taste. . .

Annie's POV

I packed some clothes for mommy's house. I'm gonna guess that my clothes there are too small by now.

Anyway, I'm especially really excited because I get to see Katie! She's coming over tomorrow morning.

Mommy just helped me get dressed and now I'm eating breakfast and she's helping Hayley. I heard the doorbell, and it must be Katie! I wheeled over to the door and opened it with my good hand. Katie, Brennan, and Ryan were there with Mrs. Jill. We said hi, and I hugged them all. I hugged Katie the tightest.

Then, we played board games and talked. Hayley and I did most of the talking.

When we had to say goodbye, I pleaded my mom for a sleepover, but she said maybe next weekend, since she wanted to spend time together. I was a little sad, but she had a point. Any moment now, the judge could recall their decision!
