"Good night, sweetheart," Daddy kissed my forehead.
"Night night," I turned on my side.
Luca, Sapphire, and I had our first day of kindergarten tomorrow. Our fifth birthday was last week and mommy and daddy said we're ready for school.
Two weeks ago, we went shopping for school supplies. I got a fancy hot pink backpack, Sapphire got a ice blue one, and Luca got a baseball-themed backpack. We all got our own pencil cases and lunch boxes that matched our backpacks. We also got pencils, crayons, and a notebook. My notebook was black with white polka dots, Luca's was red with a dog on it, and Sapph's was white with gold stripes. We also got first day of school outfits too.

"Abbie Jacks, wake up!" I heard mommy's voice.
"It's the first day of school!" I shouted out.
"Yep! Go put on your special outfit," mommy said while walking out of my room.
I put on my slippers, then started pulling my clothes out of the closet. I found my white top and red shorts, put those on, and then I put on my black high tops.

I headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and stopped at Luca's room. He was tying his shoes.
"Hi Lucie!" I smiled.
"Hey Abbie! Can you tie my shoes for me? The bunny ears keep falling out of my fingers," he asked.
"Fine," I sat down and tied his shoes for him.
He was wearing a navy blue and white striped shirt and white shorts with blue sneakers.

I left his room and brushed my teeth, then went downstairs and started to eat my Apple Jacks and drink my milk. Mommy was packing lunches and Daddy had already left for work.
Sapphire came down the stairs in her pineapple dress and some silver sandals.
