"Honey, you have to go visit him," Katie tried to get Allie to see her father.

"No! He hurt me and I'm not gonna see him," the now eight-year-old stomped her right foot, throwing a tantrum like a three year old.

"Allie Jade Leblanc, get in the car. Now." Katie crossed her arms.

"Only if I can get a cat," Allie's eye twinkled.

She was such a clever girl (that also just really wanted a cat), that Billy and Katie would often joke that her soul wasn't reset all the way when she was sent back down from Heaven.

"No, but I'll take you to petsmart so you can see the cats," Katie smiled.

"Good enough," Allie hopped in the car and buckled her seat belt.

Once arriving at the jail, they went to the booths where you can talk to the people in jail.

"Who are you looking for?" The officer at booth number seven asked.

"Milo Watson," Katie said. Allie looked over her shoulder and studied the wall.

"He will be here in a minute or so," the officer walked away.

Katie sat on the chair and placed Allie on her lap. Allie played with her fingers.

"Why didn't you want to see your dad?" Katie asked, though she already knew the answer.

"He's not a nice person," she simply responded.

Milo sat down in his chair and the officer from before stood behind him.

"Hi Katie. How are you?" He asked.

"We're doing pretty well. Allie's taken a liking to painting recently," Katie said.

"That's good," Milo nodded his head. "Hey little duckling, how're you doing?"

"I'm okay," she looked at her hands.

"So you like painting now, huh? What do you like to paint?"

"Cats. I like painting the ocean and the sunsets too."

"That's pretty cool. How's school going?"

"Good. We made slime in science."

She still wouldn't look at her father.

"What color did you make your slime?"

"It was light blue with glitter. Quinn did bright pink," she said, finally looking at her father.

"That's so awesome-"

"And times up. Say your goodbyes," the officer said.

"Bye Allie. Thanks for bringing her Katie," Milo waved.

"No problem," Katie smiled.

"Bye," Allie mumbled as walked away. "Can I see my cats now?"

Katie chuckled. "Sure, let's go."
