Allie's POV
Two months later....

"Hey Allie?" Raina asked. We were hanging out in my room.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Who's in this picture with you?" She asked, picking up a picture frame.

"Oh, that's me when I was seven. I won the first grade spelling bee. There's my mom, dad, Annie, and Hayley. My sisters were so proud of me," I smiled, remembering my first big achievement.

"Elizabeth, spell the word 'ACTUALLY'," the announcer said.

Elizabeth, a second grader, said "A-T-U-A-L-L-Y. Actually."

"Sorry Elizabeth, that is incorrect. A-C-T-U-A-L-L-Y," the announcer said. "Allie Jade, if you spell the next word correctly, you win."

I smiled and took a deep breath.

"Allie Jade, spell 'FRIENDSHIP'," the announcer told me.

"F-R-I-E-N-D-S-H-I-P. Friendship." I smiled at the end.

"That is correct. Congratulations Allie Jade, you won the first and second grade spelling bee," the announcer smiled.

"That's great," Rai smiled. "So, do you want to—"

"Allie? Come down here!" Mom yelled.

"I'll be right back," I told Raina.

"Okay Als."

I walked downstairs to find Annie, mom, dad, and Annie's boyfriend Hayden.

"Julianna? I thought you were better than this," Dad said to Annie.

Julianna? Oh no, this can't be good.

"I can't believe this," mom stood up and walked into the kitchen.

Mom never walks out, even in the worst arguments. This has gotta be bad.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"I can't tell her! She'll hate me!" Annie looked at dad.

Dad was about to speak, but I was faster.

"I won't be mad at you, whatever you did," I said, sitting at the table with them.

I smiled at Hayden. He smiled back.

"Do you promise, Allie?" Annie bit her lip.

"I promise."

"I'm pregnant," Annie said.

A/N: remember, this is eight years ahead of the end of Bye, I Guess..., so Annie is twenty-two, for clarification.

I walked back upstairs to my room.

"What took so long?" Rai asked, looking up from my phone. I guess she was doing my streaks.

"Drama. I had nothing to do with it though," I said.

"Oh, okay," she said as her phone started ringing.

She put mine on my bed and picked hers up.

"Oh, I have to go. My mom's calling. She's probably downstairs," Raina stood up.

"Well, bye," I said.

"See you on Monday," she said, walking out of my room.
