Annie's POV

"And this is the nursery," I said.

"Wow, it's so nice!" Allie gasped.

I was showing her the nursery that Hayley and I had set up. If Allie hadn't woken up before her baby was born, the plan was that Hayden and I would raise him since we had already gone through the rodeo with three kids at once.

"I don't remember. Did the doctor say your health was stable enough that you could take care of the baby?" I asked.

"Yeah. Quinn's going to help me," Allie said.

"Aww, that's so sweet of her," I smiled.

"Yeah," Allie blushed.

"Uhh. . ," I said to Allie, hoping she'd pick up what I was hinting to her.

"Oh, wait, am I blushing?" She said.

She only blushed more.

I raised my eyebrows.

"Uh, yeah, I guess I'll tell you now. Quinn and I are dating," she smiled.

"Aww, I'm so happy for you! Y'all are a cute couple," I hugged my sister.

"Thanks," she beamed.

We both went back to my living room where Hayley, Quinn, and Hayden were sitting.

Allie groaned.

"I'm so not used to having such a giant belly. My back hurts," she whined.

"Yeah, I mean, you're literally five-foot-two, so that's quite a bit of weight," Hayley giggled.

We sat down on one of the couches.

"Y'all got any names yet?" Hayden asked.

"I don't really know. I like Caden, Charlie, and Logan. I like Jax as a name too," Allie said.

"I think Finnegan is cute," Quinn smiled.

"I like that," Allie smiled.

"I like Blake and Gemini. Maybe your kid will be a Gemini," I said.

"Probably. Today's the last day for Taurus, so," Allie shrugged.

Suddenly, Allie gritted her teeth.

"Well, maybe I jinxed it. That's a contraction," Allie barely managed to say.

"HAYDEN GET A TIMER!" I shouted.

Hayden grabbed his phone and started a stopwatch.

The contraction lasted for about a minute.

"Well, I'm only a week out from my due date, so if this kid decides to come now, I won't be too mad," Allie shrugged once it was over.

We discussed more names for the next ten minutes, then we started playing Uno.

Right as Allie was putting down a wild card, she gasped.

"Another one," she whispered.

She squeezed Quinn's hand.

That one was about the same amount of time.

"Did you have any pain before the first contraction?" I asked.

"Yeah, but it just felt like cramps so I didn't think it was anything," Allie shrugged.

"Yep. That's an early sign of labor," Annie said.

Allie laughed nervously.

"Don't worry, you'll be okay. These might not be real contractions," I told her.
