Allie Jade is now...
Hayley put her hands over her mouth. Her eyes widened.
"Oh my gosh!" she started to cry.
I stood up and she hugged me really tightly. We both pulled away.
"Yes, yes, yes!" she smiled.
She held out her left hand, palm facing down, and I slipped the ring on her finger.
I hadn't planned to propose to her now, I wanted to wait until we were going out to eat tomorrow. She had found the ring and began pestering me about it, convinced I was cheating on her. She, uhh, assumes the worst most of the time.
"I'm so sorry for thinking you were cheating on me. You've just been really busy with work lately, and I love you so much and I really hoped that the ring wasn't for someone else," she apologized and started tearing up.
"It's fine. We just haven't been hanging out much lately," I said.
"Let's forget about this," she took the ring off her finger and put it back in the box, "and let's take some instagram pictures! I'll set up my phone with a timer."
I laughed and Hayley put her phone on the windowsill and set it on a timer to take a photo. I kneeled again and she acted really surprised and happy. The picture turned out perfect.
Annie's POV
It's pretty late at night. Hayden and I were watching some movies on the TV in our room. My phone buzzed. I picked it up and saw that Hayley texted me.
Haybug💕: OMG RYAN JUST PROPOSED TO MEEEEE
I screamed in excitement. Hayden looked really confused. I showed him the text and he smiled.
Me: OMG CONGRATS!!! You said yes right?
Haybug💕: OF COURSE!!!!
Me: Did you tell Allie?
Haybug💕: I'm in the middle of texting her right now.
Allie's POV
Quinn and I were watching The Office. My phone was across the room. It buzzed. I didn't feel like getting it. We were cuddling under a blanket on the couch.
It started to ring. I groaned and got up.
"Hayl—"
"RYAN PROPOSED!" Hayley screamed. I yanked the phone away from my ear.
"What??" I smiled.
"We're getting married!" she said.
"Oh my gosh! Congratulations!" I said.
"What happened?" Quinn asked.
"Hayley and Ryan are getting married!" I said.
"That's cool! Tell them I said congrats!" she yelled.
"Quinn said congrats!" I told Hayley. I put the phone on speaker.
"Thanks Quinn!" Hayley said.
"You're welcome!" Quinn shouted.
"Bye Hay!" I said.
"Bye Allie," Hayley said, then she hung up.
"They're so lucky," Quinn said, "I'll never find anyone."
"Sure you will," I sat down next to her and pulled the blanket over me again.
"No I won't. It's gonna take me forever to find a girlfriend. You're lucky, you have double the chances," she crossed her arms.
"Just because I like girls and guys doesn't give me double the chances. I'm so ugly that I have no chance. According to your logic, my zero chances times two equals zero. So there, no chances," I responded.
"Allie Jade Leblanc, you are so gorgeous. Anyone would be happy to have someone like you," Quinn smiled.
"Aww, thanks Qu. You're so sweet," I giggled.
We kept the conversation going for at least another hour. I noticed out the corner of my eye that Netflix had asked if we were still there. I internally laughed. I don't remember what time we ended up falling asleep, but I know that we never actually made it in our beds. We both fell asleep on the couch with a blanket over us.
